Hi Everyone!!

We just booked a trip to DL for November! It will be our 1st time staying at the GC! I thought I had read on this forum that the GC had a storytime with cookies for the kids. Is this correct? I can't find the info anywhere so I might be mistaken. If anyone knows what I'm talking about, can you please let me know the details?

Thanks!!
Kelly

They did have storytelling down in the lobby by the fireplace when we were there - but no cookies that I saw.

Every day at the GC there are 2 storytimes at the fireplace. They are know as "Tales from the Hearth" and are "Tales taken from the Trails" of California. Each show is about 30 minutes and start at 5:30 and 7:30. There is an aditional show for Concierge Guests at 8:30. I don't know anything about the cookies though.

Thanks for the responses! I really appreciate all the great people on this site!!!

The storytimes in the Concierge Lounge are at 8 or 8:30pm (can't quite remember), the kids get to wear their pajamas and have cookies and milk while they listen to a most wonderful storyteller. (The adults get treats too!) My girls absolutely love this and look forward to it each time we stay at the GC.

The storytellings that are held in front of the fireplace in the lobby are for all hotel guests and are just as wonderful (just minus the milk and cookies).
