Neat story. I would have said prior to this weekend that my twins were not close. But one spent the day with a friend and the other kept asking to call for pick up and that it was borring without the twin there to play with!

My DH is an Identical Twin and they are very close. They have worked together for the past 17 years. Just an amazing bond that Twins have.

Thanks so much for all of your compliments. The article was fun to write, and the older they get - the closer they seem.

It's also funny to see how the older one (by 3 minutes) has always seemed to be the one in charge, and more the "mother hen". In this case, it's the maid of honor - and she's now turning over duties of watching out for the bride to her husband.

My identical dds are 3 minutes apart and one left and one right handed too! My girls are 10 and I can't even imagine the day when they get married. Of course they claim they are never getting married!

Wow, what a nice story. Your twins remind me exactly of my sister and I (twins). We are so close, just like your girls and we are also 24 years old. I am right handed, she is left handed. We grew up together and went through college and crappy cars together too. Last October she got married and of course I was the maid of honor, but I am still single not even close to marriage. Her and my BIL just bought a house and we are still very close, we just had to add another person to the best friend circle. Best wishes to them and your family.
