Well my DH and I never heard a thing until our eldest DD who's 9 came in at 2am and told us she couldn't sleep cos of the wind!!, she promptly got sent to bed cos we couldn't hear anything
and then she reappeared 20 mins later asking what the lound bang was 
, what loud bang was the reply from us??, so at 3.30am after lying in her bed and hearing the wind howling around the back of the house and the banging outside , I checked outside and saw that the plastic shed that houses all the girls outside play things in was swinging open and a few things we're strewn around the garden
, so just after 3.30 this morning my DH & I we're out in the garden.....not a pretty sight
