Storm comin', what supplies do you keep?

Can goods, gas (especially if you have a generator), bread, matches.

And if it were me, nudie magazines so the wife doesn't get annoyed with me constantly groping her. :teeth:
I can't imagine you finding any predicament where nekkid pics didn't seem like a helpful idea. :)

We have a generator for power and water and enough canned food to get through a week. More for power outages than anything. Snow has yet to prevent me from living my life. Might slow me down, but hasn't stopped me yet. :) (knocking on wood)

we have a big one coming on monday into tuesday and i am just praying we don't lose electricity because we all just went shopping and its a seriously busy week on campus and without electricity the whole campus would have to come to a halt.
Plus six inches of snow may get us stuck in our duplex lol

I have The Weather Channel on, and they are predicting the Low to be more North then what the local channels are reporting. Not sure about that, but that would put us at more mixed weather then snow.

There is a young man who has been going to school and he has started his own website. He has been dead on so far and is predicting the following for my area:

Temperatures along and North of Interstate 70 will be cold enough for all snow, with a wintry mix falling for areas South of Interstate 70. Snow will become heavy across Central and Northern Indiana, falling at the rate of up to 2 inches per hours at times. Looking at the latest models, there is the possibility of some convective snow at times as well, which could mean periods of "thundersnow" which is essentially thunderstorms just while it is snowing.

Total snowfall amounts will range from 6-10 inches with isolated areas up to a foot for areas North of Interstate 70. Areas south of I-70 will see up to 4 inches with up to a quarter of an inch of ice accumulation.

Winds on Tuesday and Wednesday will be quite strong as the storm strengthens and moves Northeast. Winds could gust as high as 45 mph and blizzard-like conditions are likely, and a full blown blizzard is not out of the question.

It will be an interesting 24 hours or so now to see what will really happen.

We are having a high of 25 today! And some sunshine!
Woo-hoo! :beach:

It is winter. I expect snow to come and I'll deal with it. But at 25 degrees, with sun, I'm celebrating! :woohoo:

Yeah i am north of 70...and when they were showing the heaviest snow it was like right over us...

How sad is it we get so excited when the temps hit 20?!?!? It's a freaking heat wave for us!

I am a big stock piler so I always have enough of just about everything. But I went out and got 8 gallons of milk, 5 loafs of bread, and 122 rolls of toilet paper just in case. Now I realize we are almost our of lettuce. :worship: Now I have to trek back to the store again for romaine might as well get more toilet paper while I'm there and valentine's card for my sweetie.
