Stopped to see Vero/ Oh my !

We just got back from a vacation that included a week in a private beach-front pool home a few miles north of Disney's VB resort and we took the opportunity to look around at VB - love it! Our family agrees that if we do another beach vacation it will be at VB. It is beautiful, lots of activites planned if you want to join in, it looks like they have "graded" the beach front, it didn't seem to have the sharp drop off ours did. The CMs were all very friendly. We didn't use the pool and didn't ask, the CM at the front desk told us they were sold out the night before so we didn't want to use up valuable pool space.

DH loved it so much we're thinking about adding on!

If you're going soon take some Off or something with deet - the no see ums are BAD right now!

FYI, it took us 2 hours to get from there to the Contemporary - we took 192 there and the beeline/95 back and each took the same amount of time.

Its funny, for the longest time I have been reading and participating in the boards but never was given the impression that VB was as appealing as we experienced when we visited. I admit I am a BCV snob thinking I was better than all of the other BCV members (especially the Boardwalk gangsters).
You VB groupies have done a great job keeping the truth to yourselves. You should be ashamed of yourselves. For the right price though I will keep my mouth shut and allow you all to continue your covert cover up. Dennis

When I read the title of this thread, I feared the "Oh My" was short for "Oh my, it was so bad." I was so happy to hear that it was a good "Oh My." I stayed at Vero Beach in 2000, and I found it to be extremely relaxing, and the place was lovely. Sitting poolside and reading a book was heaven. I don't think I've ever come back from a vacation that relaxed.

We have made 5 Presidnets week visits and are booked for the 6th

This thread got me so interested in Vero that I called and there was a Garden View Inn room available for a night and I booked it! We are spending 11 nights at WDW later this summer... One of those nights we'll make a quick trip to the ocean. I am so excited! It sounded so nice I couldn't resist!

I think you'll love it!! You might even get lucky enough to see some turtle hatchlings making their way to the ocean!
