Thanks again for all the P & PD!!!

I had the sonic blast yesterday afternoon. I'm not in much pain at the moment but I haven't seen any sand yet.:( Is that normal or did the ESWL not work?

Kirk: The doctor should have been able to tell you or your family right after whether it worked or not. This past summer, my doctor told us that he got it, but one piece was still big enough that I would probably have to have it again for that part.

I didn;t pass anything for a day or so if I remember correctly.

Doc said he coundn't say. A successful ESWL only makes the stone look a little faded at first. I suppose they'll be calling me soon to ask how things are going. I'll ask them then.

I've had this done a few times and never really saw anything.

Really???

Last time I had it done I passed gravel for ~2 days. And why would they load me up with little strainers and ask me to collect the pieces for analysis??
