The fact that you were in WDW where someone could easily turn it it might be bad (however, some people might not realize the extent of WDW's lost and found).
However, the point of my post is that in 2007, about 2 months after getting home from WDW, MY DH left my camera at a theatre where we were at a Dance Competition. I did not even realize it until about 2 days later. It was in a city 2.5 hours from us, but he happened to be going that way to a meeting. He stopped at looked everywhere, no luck. I cried and cried because it had some pictures I had not uploaded yet. Figured we would never see it again. Fast foward to November (8 months later). I get a call from my DD's dance studio. (They knew I had lost my camera). Anyway, a man from the Dance Competition company had called and he had a camera. It had been sitting on his desk for awhile as he could not figure whose it was and the person who turned it in forgot to tell which city in the USA it had come from. He spent time going through my camera and found a picture of my son with his school sweatshirt on. He Googled it and came up with the closest dance studio and HE FOUND US. We got the camera, card, etc. all back. It was amazing. (Kind of scary how easy it is to track a kid, though).
Anyway, just keep faith. Maybe, just maybe, someone will do the same for you. I hope so and I hope someone like him found your camera and is trying to figure out how to return it.
