Don't bring expensive strollers to WDW, don't leave anything of value in your strollers, don't use open tote bags as purses - make sure they zipper, be aware of your surroundings and people standing too close to you. Disney isn't magically crime free. I sat and watched enough security reports to know it happens more than you think. Gal in line at Pecos Bill with a large tote bag over her shoulder. Went to pay and her wallet, passport (she was international) and more gone. CM said the man behind her was acting strange ... Seen the family filing a security report for all their bags of purchases they left on stroller while they rode ... WDW isn't some magical bubble of safety. Security told one person that thieves buy an AP and come in regularly to grab and go home. No way to catch these people and your reports are nothing more than for your purposes. I would guess it mostly doesn't become public knowledge.
Now Disney did manage to catch a stroller thief (they stole often to sell) because the stroller itself stood out on the camera at the front entrance. $1800 stroller

that I imagine was a rare sight in parks. Remember folks will only steal what they can sell.

Watching squirrels eat food out of strollers is part of the entertainment. They will open anything they possible can so my guess is double ziploc bag or plastic storage container (block smell) and put "out of sight".
