STK...thoughts?

I made my ADR's today for my end of September trip. My oldest turns 14 on the day we arrive and he wants to eat at STK. What are your thoughts on this place?

We love it as we’re big steak eaters. It has a club like atmosphere with a DJ. Very loud but my boyfriend and I could still converse. As guys in our 50s we didn’t recognize any songs. As a 14 year old I would probably like it especially if I were into steak and today’s dance music. It’s quite pricey. Dinner for 2 adults with tip ran us well over $300 but we each had several cocktails.

Love nice steak houses, try to visit one any place I travel. Ate at STK a few times and enjoyed each... by far had the best server in all the years I've been visiting WDW. It was on noisy side due to them having a live DJ playing, but we love that type of atmosphere. Music was great for us, can't wait to go back next time down.

Deff on the pricey side too, I think 4 adults we were in the $500/600 range. (Drinks, shots, apps, entrees)

OK, so not in the "not so pricey" category, but the best steak we've had in the WDW area (we are local) is Bull & Bear at the Waldorf Astoria Bonnet Creek. Yes, better than Shula's, which would b next on the list. Always great service, atmosphere and food.

I'm pretty sure STK no longer accepts the Dining Plan, in case that matters.

Unfortunately we found STK to be disappointing, our meal (in Feb 2020) was expensive when compared with Le Cellier and Yachtsman. We dont use a dining plan so are basing this on overall cost and no alcohol was purchased. We also found the atmosphere to be lacking in comparison to other on property restaurants.

Had the Father's Day brunch there 2 years ago. It was good, but we might not go there again. Seemed a little over priced for what we got.
