After waiting for 40 minutes to go on this ride, we were quite disappointed. In essence, it is the same ride as Alien Encounter was. In the "briefing room" you are told about your job to guard the alien prisoners, and that there are both Level 1 and Level 2 prisoners. All of the sudden, there is some galactic emergency and there is a never before heard of Level 3 prisoner heading your way. (Of course, it's Stitch). You are then escorted into the same old "Alien" room, with the exception that the seats are totally stationery. Stitch manages to escape your watch, and what ensues is the same old thing - lots of darkness, screaming and looking around for Stitch. We were there with several small children, the youngest being 21 months and there were very few warnings about the scare factor here. The 8 year old that we were with asked about 3/4 of the way through what this ride was about and my pregnant daughter almost lost her lunch when Stitch burped after eating a chili cheese hot dog and the smell was released through the sides of her chair.
Overall, we were so excited to have caught the ride on a surprise "practice" day, only to be very disappointed. We liked Alien Encounter better - at least then you knew to expect a scary ride. With Stitch, we figured that the attraction would be much more child friendly, which it was not. The general consensus when we were exiting was that this was one to skip.
