Just got back from Disney. The Stitch ride was open for all on Friday and we got to ride it. The ride had a lot of problems apparently as the line was held up to fix problems. Not sure what those were. Once admitted there were not any problems we could tell anyway.

The ride was not that great. There are much better rides. I wouldn't skip it by any means but not that impressive. Kids, 5 and 6 were not impressed either. Not scared though either.

And I would never use Dreams Unlimited Travel Agency ever again.

Well I am glad your not saying to skip it and to at least try it. But why not try Dreams Unlimited again? Do tell for everyone else who may want to try them.

we also just got back from DW and cannot reccomend the Stitch ride. We wouldn't go again even if there was no waiting in line. It wasn't scary or bad just a waste of time -- could have been doing something else fun during that time.

The agency simply lied to us. They said we couldn't get a better deal and we could have. They also told us we had a better room than they had actually booked. VERY poor service.

I don't understand, did Dreams actually tell you they booked a specific view? Travel agents can't book specific rooms, just request them. Was it that they booked a certain view and it was awful? That would not be their fault. Since they can't book certain rooms then even the view can be bad. We stayed and paid for a savannah view room at AKl a few years ago and it was the worst part of the savannah. Awful. But it was not my fault, I paid for the savannah view and requested a specific part of the savannah, it is Disney's fault they didn;t put us in a better room. Not sure if the room view/or room in general would have been DU fault. Did you stay on site?As far as getting a better deal, I thought DU's big thing was that they would keep checking unti they got you the best deal. Did that not happen? Just wondering because alot of people here seem to love DU.

We just got back as well (trip report forthcoming) and rode Stitch. Now, we've never been on Alien so I didn't have to compare to anything. I never wanted to go on Alien because just hearing about it scared the Pixie Dust right out of me!
So, the pre-show was funny, very funny. Cool effects too. Then we went into the next room, which I hear from people didn't really change all that much. l liked the show itself, but I did not like those hard harnesses that come down over you. They hurt your shoulders when they bounce and plus it scared me that I was trapped. I would go on it again but put soft cushions on my shoulders. Faceclothes should work. Maybe they should just pad them? That would be perfect!

Someone just told me today that the Stitch ride was not that great. Sort of the same set up as Alien, but the one thing they did say was that it was dark and so many kids were screaming and crying, but on the other hand, some people posted that it was not scary at all.

Would a 2 1/2 year old like it??

:earsgirl: :earsboy:

yes, I agree. The shoulder bars that came down hurt my shoulder A LOT! I tried to scrunch down to be shorter to get away from the bars but they bounce and it hurt. I definitely wouldn't go again.

It has a height requirement I believe of either 40 or 44 inches but even if it didn't, there is NO way I'd bring either of my girls when they were under I'd say 4 years old. My 5 year old cried through the whole thing even though I tried to warn her about the darkness. It was dark and loud and she didn't like the 'mist' of wetness.
