Stitch - like him, love him, hate him?

We love Stitch. And we have been to alot of Charater Meals & boy let me tell you when we did Ohana Breakfast the crowd went nuts when Stitch came into the room. He worked that room. I think the fact that he is a little naughty helps.

As far as the wake up call goes I think they should have a 7 nite rotation.

I personally can take him or leave him, but Stitch is my DS' favorite character.
When you see even a 14yo loving a character and the character making a teenage boy smile, well, ya gotta just love Stitch then!

We love Stitch!!

Loved the movie, love seeing him in the parks (ran up on him one early am in Tomorrowland with no one else around; had lots of fun playing around with Stitch), and love the attraction; even the chili dog smell. I just think the attraction fits his mischievous personality.

I love love love love that little guy. He is is my favorite as you can see from my avatar. Me and DH did the ride/attraction before we saw the movie and just HAD to see the movie and then proceeded to see just about every Stitch cartoon they made. We have so many Stitch stuffed animals and little characters around the house its not even funny. I like him because he is a little naughty but he tries really hard to be good. He was wired to be bad but with a little love from his "ohana" he can be good.

BTW, does anyone else see a strong similarity between Stitch and Gurgi (the annoying strange little creature from the Black Cauldron).

Well spotted! I don't think I ever saw The Black Cauldron but oh my gosh, that is the same exact character personality down to the voice. Someone at Disney saw an opportunity to salvage a star from an otherwise ho-hum movie and I am impressed. What's even more interesting is that while watching this I got the impression it was a reinvention of Gollum even thought I didn't get the same feel from watching Stitch. Tres cool!

I voted "I really don't care" but am certainly more on the side of don't like than do - mainly because he's over-represented. Not like he is a great character from a genre changing movie or anything. Not even close to being on of Disney's best movies (not that it was bad, it just isn't spectacular) and Stitch is a second rate character in comparison to some others; why he is plastered over every inch of WDW I have no idea.

Give me Wall-E any day - oh, wait - they ignore Wall-E because the freaking blue burp machine is already everywhere...
