Larissa from Guest Communications confirmed that they ARE pulling Stitch from the parks.

He WILL have his Ohana breakfast, and MAY show up in HS by the Hat's old location, but in a rotation with others.. and ONLY after the fab 5 have done their greets in the morning. And he'll be at Typhoon Lagoon, seasonally.

She also said that entertainment really does listen to guest feedback on these issues, so if you're bummed about this, send an e-mail to WDW.Guest.Communications@disneyworld.com.

That's probably not her exact wording.

This little baby slept through his only in-park meet and greet with Stitch. Isn't that sad?

Send an e-mail today. Do it for the children! ;D

I'm not thrilled that they are removing Stitch from MK. He's my favorite. I'm glad I've got an 'Ohana reservation in November. Given the amount of Stitch Merch they have (it must move, or they wouldn't keep making it) I don't understand why he doesn't get more love (better attraction, consistent M&G). Here's hoping there is more in store for my favorite experiment.

I'm probably in the minority when it comes to WDW fans (I consider myself one), but I couldn't care less about Stitch. Does he have fans? Really?? I assume this is why he's going away: he doesn't have many fans. I enjoy seeing any of the Fab 5 around the Park, and a few of the princesses, maybe a few others...

I'll double down: I don't get the "autograph" thing. I used to love seeing the characters walk around the park like they were home. Of course, you can't see that anymore because of all the stinkin' autograph hounds - clamoring for an autograph from an anonymous college kid in a costume. I. Don't. Get. It.

If you don't get it then don't do it. I get them and then send them to my little cousins. They love it especially when I do it in such a way that it is made out specially to them. It isn't hurting anyone and is just apart of the magic.

Yes stitch is gone from tomorrowland. Rumor is Miles from tomorrowland will soon take his place.

Do people even know who Miles is? I'm not a character person at all. But Stitch is one of maybe 3 characters I met on my last trip. He is my favorite characters, and Disney has very little boy specific character offerings. Like I said, I don't care much for characters so this isn't a huge deal for me, but I still don't understand it. Stitch is pretty popular. When I saw this headline I was excited that it was about the "ride"...now I'm bummed that it's about the character.

Miles would actually be a very popular boys choice right now. He is new to Disney Jr. and is from my understanding is a bit hit with the preschool/early elementary crowd.

Yeah, nobody would be sad to see the ride go. :(

However, they've released a ton of new Stitch (and Angel) merchandise in the past year at WDW, the Disney Store, and Hot Topic. I've even seen it at Kohls/Walmart. There was a multi-year period where I never saw ANY Stitch stuff, so it's weird to me that they're giving him the heave ho at this point!

Anyone who has young kids who watch Disney junior know who he is.

I often refer to my DD as our little "626", so I have a soft spot for Stitch and am sorry to see him go.
While I have 2 kids that would be thrilled to see Miles from Tomorrowland (they kept asking why he wasn't in Tomorrowland...) Those same 2 kids ADORE Stitch. He was the highlight of the trip both times- we had great interactions. Of course, they were also mightily disappointed that it was the Incredibles Dance Party and not Club 626. So much so that they didn't want to stay to dance...

I don't. We used to enjoy getting our picture made with characters, but the autographs made the lines take 2x or 3x longer, so it didn't make sense anymore. I'll bet that autograph hounds are why you don't see them just walking the park anymore.

Anybody that has kids knows who Miles is. Stitch great escape is just a revamp alien encounter. It would be great to see a disney jr attraction make its way into magic kingdom. I don know why they would pull the character stitch from the parks. Making room I guess for there New Hawaiian princess movie.

The autographs... And the families of five or six who want each child photographed separately, and then the kids together, and then the whole family, and then all the autographs....

My kids would love a Miles meet and greet, especially if Merc is there!

They did not care for Stitch and were not huge Monster's Inc. fans either. In fact, though I liked the message of Lilo and Stitch, I have only seen it twice and really never fell in love the characters. I personally would prefer Miles too.

From what I have read, the response to Miles has been a bit of a phenomenon. It has managed to expand the demographics of the typical Disney Jr. show since it now has a substantial following of 10 and 11 year olds.

Don't understand why you go then if this bothers you. I never understand why people complain about things at Disney. Being blessed enough to enjoy a vacation of any kind with your family is reason enough not to complain. If you don't enjoy autographs then don't do it but complaining about other peoplw doing it is rude.
