How was everyone's wk?

Tonight we are having dinner at my aunts house.
Tomorrow Jordan's baseball team might play in a tournie.
Then I might go out with some friends.
Sunday is a BBQ at my friends house.
Nothing to exciting.
Today I am training the unibrow guy on JDE.
Oh I am so excited about that!!

Yomomma we are going to see the sun this weekend! I'm so excited I can't stand it! It's been in the 40's and 50's all week. We are supposed to have 70's Saturday and Sunday. At least it was nice enough to give us the good weather on the weekend!!!!

DH is organizing the garage and wants to turn one of the guest rooms into a music studio.

Saw your new car on Facebook. Pretty! Speaking of facebook, it surprised me to see your real name!!! I thought it was going to be something that started with an "A". Also, I had a babysitter once with your name, first and last spelled the same way.

What does your husband play? Nate plays the guitar. I think he's pretty good, but I'm his mom, so what do I know? Becca plays the flute right now in the elementary school band, but she is stopping after this year. She's not that into it.

I am so brilliant!!! Listen to this. My DH wants to go to Vegas too much for my liking, like I mentioned yesterday. So I decided I was going to use that as leverage. So last night I was showing him this cool new couch I saw in a furniture store ad and he said "I'll get you that if we can go back to Vegas in the fall." Well I had already thought of that, so I said OK if we get a new couch and ALSO we do the granite tile counters in the kitchen! Yippee! New items for me, Vegas for him, everyone is happy!

Ok, so that was not what I was thinking. Usually when you spend big bucks on home improvements, there is no vacation. You get both, sounds like a pretty good deal to me!

What are you girls doing this weekend?

We are shipping Abby off to Grandma's for the weekend. We have a wedding tonight. It is pouring rain here. I feel bad for my friend b/c she is supposed to get married outside. She is going to have to get married inside the reception room now. Bummer! Saturday, I'm going to ship your boards, then we have our bowling banquet at night. It is at a banquet hall so it is like a bad wedding. I got smashed last year and it was not pretty. I'm going to try to not do a repeat this year. Sunday, recovering from Friday and Saturday night. We are supposed to have cool weather over the weekend, struggling to get to 60.

Whole lotta weddings this weekend. My g/f's g/f, Marie - got married last night.

Jimmy's brother got married today. Very nice! Windy - but nice day.

Very boring chill weekend for us which was nice for once. I bought paint for a couple rooms in the house now I just need to actually do it. Guess I'll start it when I get home today. Literally that was probably the most exciting thing to happen this weekend, and it was nice. LOL!

He has small seam marks on his lip. He woke up this morning & his
lip is HUGE! Yep he has a fat lip from using his face as his mit.
I was a fun weekend, but it went way to fast!!

Sun how was the wedding?

OUCH! I did that once. I caught the ball with my cheek. Luckily, no broken bones, but I had a huge shiner for a long time. I hope his fat lip heals fast.

The wedding was very nice. It never stopped raining all day & night so they got married inside the room. We went to the hotel bar afterwards for a little while too. It was fun. I paid for it though. I got up at 3 after going to sleep at 1:30 and didn't feel good at all. I had the worst cotton mouth. Woke up at 8 b/c I heard Abby and my Mom leaving. She took Abby home with her Saturday morning instead of Friday evening b/c there were tornado warnings where she lived. So, we had to go to our bowling banquet Sat night which was like another wedding. I didn't move off the couch on Sunday all day & night. I was soooo lazy.

The bride said she didn't care for her DJ. I thought he did OK, could have been better, but he was not as bad as she thought he was. I guess it was a friend of hers and he didn't exactly have things running smoothly and he didn't play the songs she wanted.

Overall, it was a nice wedding though and we had a good time.

Good/busy weekend for us. I'm looking forward to this weekend because I need to paint my deck. I wish it was a stained deck, but it was painted when we bought it so we sort of have to stick with that for now. It looks so good when it's done though.

Sun ~ I just bought my BAGS!!! It says same day shipping with 2-3 day shipping time. It is entirely possible that I could have the entire set by this weekend. OMG it would be so hard not to give it to him early so we can play.

I only got one set of each color. I figured worst case is one breaks and we have to throw and then go get another one for the last throw, KWIM? I will probably get more soon, but prom, end of year carnival, 5 birthdays, mother's day, DH's boards shipping and bags, DD new clothes and girly stuff for 6th grade graduation and band concert and she is a girl so those have to be 2 completely different outfits, I could go on! It has been an expensive month. And I live credit-card-free so I have to figure all this stuff out and still feed the troops! Top Ramen is my friend!!!

Angel ~ I can't wait to see pics of your painted rooms. I'm completely addicted to painting. If they had a 12 step program for paint addicts I would sign up today!
