Do you have a bathtub and some bath salts? I know its a lame replacement but it might help. I have some bath salts that I got at Walmart that are specifically for when you are sick. They smell menthalatummy goodnessy.

I wonder is Xena is out site seeing? I haven't seen her on the news yet?

Jimmy wants to get a new car, for me, this year. Im kinda attached to my car.

It's kind of a piece of junk. But, I have no payments, it starts every single morning *knock on wood* and I feel a strange connection to it.

Hi Cat & company Hope you ladies don't mind if I interrupt a moment. I drove my Kia until it practically died in the middle of the road. I'd planned on getting a NEW car but found a 2004 Toyota Scion xB with less than 50k miles in mint condition and made a deal we couldn't pass up. Scion's are AMAZING cars! It's actually far bigger than it looks from the outside, with the back seat folded down will carry a new freezer in the box gets 30 in the city and 35 on the highway, comfy, sporty, and has a great rep for going for well over 200k miles. The 2009 xB looks a lot like mine. Drives like a small car with the room of a compact SUV. Worth looking into and a low mileage used is well worth a closer look Here's me and mine: (can you tell I LOVE my Scion )

I am so glad he saved his kiechka-ing while he was in Indiana and not at home!! But now he is and freezing, and achy.

He broke his foot during football last year. Being 1/4 Indian the poor kid has flat feet and his arch or what are is collapsing. So we get to see the stink Dr. next wk. YAY!!

Blah - Ive been up for about an hour and a half. I feel like crapola.

Cant sleep, so Im flipping channels. Apparently the dead of the night is the best time to have Extenze commercials.

But, as Im flipping (the reason I logged in) I hope Xena is okay. It's really BAD in Washington (i.e. floods) I mean, bad bad!!! I was really hoping she'd of checked in. Im wondering if theyre without power. She said she was on a hill, so as long as she didnt do any site seeing she should be okay. I hope she checks in.

I cant get past the toaster-esque looks of it. My mom had a Suzuki Samurai at one time, and it was SUCH a hard car to drive, if it was windy. Does the Scion feel like that?

Yeah, I drive the toaster but at least it's not white My daddy says it looks like I forgot to take my car out of the box.

It's honestly FAR more aerodynamic than you'd think. And definitely not a tumbleweed when the wind blows. I'm 5'2" and I can stand beside it and look over the roof but yet my 6'8" Dh can drive it perfectly comfortably.

ETA: I thought they were BUTT FUGLY for years too! Then I just couldn't tear myself away and once I drove it I was totally sold. Especially after doing the research!

I hope Xena is ok. I was just watching King 5 news & they said that this is the worst flooding that Snohomish has ever seen. It looked pretty bad.
That the city is under several ft of water, but its the lower part. Since Xena lives on a hill, I bet she is just fine. Right. As long as her and the family didn't go sight seeing again.

Hi girls! Wow, I missed a lot yesterday.

I had the stomach flu. It wasn't pretty. I went to work and felt queesy all morning. I went home around 11:30AM b/c I knew something wasn't right. 2:00, I was praying to the porcelein gods. It was awful. I had a fever, aches, pains, you name it all day & night. I haven't been that sick in a long time. I had a down comforter & 2 blankets and still couldn't get warm. You know when it hurts to even touch your skin, that was me.

Abby was so cute though. DH had to go to bowling since I was already missing and neither of our subs could bowl. So, Abby was taking care of me. She was super cute. She kept asking, "Mommy, do you need anything? Can I get you anything? You feel very warm."

She ended up falling asleep with me in the bed. DH wanted no part of it and slept on the couch.

So, I already feel a lot better. I still haven't eaten anything, but I think the stomach flu part is over. I still have a headache, but not anywhere near yesterday.

So, I hope none of you get the flu. It is AWFUL! My sitter's kids all have it so it is going around.

Cat - I hope you are feeling better. I agree with everyone else to go with a 4 door. We have a 2 door & a 4 door. I can't stand the 2 door. PITA!

Xena - I hope you are safe!

Jordan - Sorry about your kiddo breaking his foot. That stinks!

I think the toaster's are cute. I never realized how roomy they were.

I hope his foot isn't broken again. He starts baseball training in like 2 wks.
(We are a sports a family, we play it all, so this could be bad).
It was pretty swollen last night. So the x-rays are not so great.
