Man..... when it rains it pours.
Here are just a few things that I havent shared with everyone simply cuz Ive been so swamped.... (pre vacation is stressful! Getting work stuff done on top of getting things prepared for your trip is mind boggling!)
Joey got in a car accident. He's fine - very minor damage to car that hit him, very major damage to his own car. He had to have it towed, couldnt even drive it home.... and the thing is, one of my husbands friends is a tow truck driver so HE could have picked it up - but none the less, we went that night to get it out, and they wouldnt let us. The guy was being a JERK!!!! Such a weenie. Long story short - we got it out the next morning for a total of $300. Ouch.
Then Jimmy's truck had some ball bearing break on it.... cha-ching....there goes another $300.
Then I got my cable bill, and since we just moved - I honestly dont know if I got last months bill and I didnt pay it due to being a flake, or if they just tacked it all onto this months... none the less.... $250.
Then my electric came.... let's just say I have agreed to stop putting the air down to 68º even if I'm hot..... $226
In like 3 days - $1000 gone..... *POOF* Adios! And shortly before a Disney trip as well.
Then.... for the past 2 days my co-worker (who was going to watch Charley) had been out sick. She had vomiting and 'poopers' - well she ended up having to go to the hospital, and was admitted (she's only 26). I talked to her husband and theyre not sure what's wrong with her. She has an inflammed colon and swollen lymph nodes.

Please think good thoughts for her. He is extremely worried, as are we all..... and then it leaves me with Charley.
When we got Charley last year and I booked bounce back, Jimmy and I were talking about what we were gonna do with Charley. I suggested my Grandma, but he said no, she was old and weighed as much as Charley - which is true. My Grandma's got 20 pounds on Charley! But this was before we really knew his personality and temprement. He's not high energy, barking, disobedient, jumping.... he's really good. So, I called my Grandma.
She said yes! I knew she would. She loves dogs, and for as long as I can remember she always had them, and they were BIG. She had German Shephards, and Labs, and big honking dogs. She's used to them, and if Cesar Millan is right, that it's about the energy you put off as far as being a 'pack leader' - no one, and I mean NO ONE, is as strong as my Grandma.

That 80 y/o woman still climbs her ladder to clean the leaves out of her gutter and will still yell at anyone who uses her yard as a walkway.
We're gonna take him over there a few times in the next couple weeks, so he gets used to her cats. I dont think he'll eat them. Besides, my grandma told me last night that years ago her one Shephard grabbed one of the cats and she had to pry its jaws open to release it.
So, Charley is going to my grandma's. I think he'll like it there. She said he could sleep on the couch with her.
