Stinkeye!!! Stinkyeye!!! Stinkeye!!! Stinkeye!!! Stinkeye!!! Stink Eye ! ! !!

Uggghhh Breezy, that is UNACCEPTABLE! And from family?!?!? How rude!!!

Seriously. We only left her the keys in case she needed to move it or something but instead she droves it around for 2 weeks and messed it all up inside. She's the kind of person thought that holds grudges and is basically kind of the family bully, and I'm very new to the family so I coulodn't really say anything without causing a bunch of waves and I just didn't feel like dealing with that even thought I was

:headache: I hope she at least left you a full tank of gas.

no, but she did get the oil changed and mentioned it like a hundred times and left the reciept hanging out of the glove compartment where it was sure to be seen:rolleyes:

Angel, did your hubby get home ok?

Yeah he said that he had to go like 2 miles per hour most of the way but that by the time he got to the neighborhood the cops were pulling away. Guess they decided anyone who wanted to drive through at that point was on their own! LOL!

They ended up letting them go 10 minutes early!!! :lmao: :lmao:

10 minutes early is an insult  . I think I would have stayed out of protest. At least he's ok. :)

Yeah in the end thats all that matters.

Just a little FYI, it is STILL pouring here as it has been for HOURS and the wind is still blowing all my patio furniture around as we had no idea this was headed our way and no way we would need to do anything with our pool floats and patio furniture. Luckily our yard is fenced so they are all plastered up against fences. LOL!

Stay safe! My parents in Bradenton were expecting the brunt of it, but they're getting nadda. DH just called them and they're too busy drinking their wine to talk. They said there's nothing else to do.

I hope they end up getting nothing. At first it was fun. getting off work ealry, kids playing in the water in the street etc etc....now it's just annoying. It's like yes yes wind, rain, we got it! Enough already!!!

And witht hat folks, I am off to read for a little bit before bed!

Here's another good one. Her boys got 2nd degree burns on their back from the sun. They told her they put on sunscreen, but didn't. Um, I wouldn't rely on my 8 and 10 yr olds to lather up on sunscreen. I ran out and bought DD one of those shirts b/c I knew she'd be getting burnt everyday!!!!

Oh yeah, I'll see that story and raise you:

In Feb 2003 we went to Orlando with MIL&FIL. MIL decided to take DD3 to Seaworld for the day so DH and I could go to MGM alone. She thought it was so cute how DD was playing on the splash pad, she'd stand over the water hole and the water would come up and hit her in the face HARD. She let her do that for over an hour! :headache: She even took video because she thought it was so 'cute'. Well, DD3 ended up getting a horrible ear infection and we had to rush her to the hospital because she was convulsing from the fever. When everything was over MIL isisted DD got sick from the mold in the condo we were renting. WTH!!!:headache:   I'm STILL ticked about that one.:sad2:

I've told DH several times that I'm surprised he made it to adulthood.

Your turn. :cool2:

 You'd think they'd be safe with family. Seriously, I agree with you ward, my MIL is the same way - our men are lucky they made it. :headache:

:wave2: Goodnight Angel.

Yeah, when both kids went up to grandma's cabin last weekend, I told DD8 right in front of Grandma "Keep an eye on your little brother and Grandma and Papa. If any of them are careless or do anything bad, you be sure to tell me." :lmao: I know it ticked of MIL and she rolled her eyes, but that's the only way I can get at her without a full-blown fight. I've always found it hard to hold my tongue. :rotfl: It's pretty bad with the 8 year old is in charge.

:eek: ::yes::

I can relate

Ok, I got one. When DS was about 9 mo. old we went for a weekend to visit the in-laws (his parents). DS was cruising furniture at the time. Well......SIL and BIL (who live in the same town as his parents and are the golden children - mind you I could care less, just relevant to the story) came over with their dog. A ****zu (sp?) who is horrible. It bites everyone except SIL, BIL and DH's parents - who "babysit" the dog. Well, DH and I had had a discussion prior to going up there about the dog.
I made it clear that there was no way I was going to let the dog bite DS, and we would just ask them to put the dog in another room, or gate the family room off.
We never got the chance. When we arrived, we were promptly told that we needed to stay in the LIVING room away from the dog. :headache:
So, the dog got the run of the house and we were stuck in a room the whole weekend with no tv, while everyone else - their whole family - was in the family room enjoying each others company. DS walked for the first time that weekend - did his parents care? - nope, too busy with the dog.

Seriously, the whole weekend. I can't tell you how that makes me feel. Knowing that his parents love a **** dog more than their own grandchild. BTW, there are countless other stories along the same lines to back up my hypothesis.

And DH wonders why I have an issue with his parents
That's horrible. I have a friend with a dog who doesn't like strangers, whenever there are people over at her house, she puts the dog in the basement.

no, but she did get the oil changed and mentioned it like a hundred times and left the reciept hanging out of the glove compartment where it was sure to be seen:rolleyes:
How tacky!

Wow, how generous.

disneyfav4ever, what major city are you by?

I'm mentally planning a day group meet with people on this thread. :rotfl: I know we have Ohio, Chicago, Detroit. Poor Dec5girl is way out in Washington.:guilty:

I'd give Angel the stink eye for living so close to WDW, but I can't get into my photobucket right now, so this will have to do::mad:

I'm gonna miss all the fun!

Sun ~ I think for next father's day would be great for the cornhole set because then we could use it all summer. Right now is kind of a bad time to give it to him anyway because we are entering the 9 months of rain. Oh, wait, it rained all summer. I guess we have 12 months of rain here now.

I dunno, SUN. I might get into the CornHole'n business. By June, I will have perfected my CornHole'n making technique. And then you've got WARD's hubby getting into the business. You might have competition by June.

And a major price war. I'll make mine from the finest CornHole'n products availible. And I'll throw in a case of beer. :lmao:

It's all about the quality! Not the price!

Isn't that right, Xena?

Oh, my in-laws.......I could go on and on...............they all hate me because I'm happy and they are completely messed up.

They think that I think that I am better than them. OK I admit it, I do think I'm better than them. After all, I have a job, have a bank account, haven't had an affair, haven't been to rehab, my kids don't go into their bedrooms and steal all of their money out of their wallets at a 7 year olds birthday party. Yep, I pretty much think I'm better than they are. I'm so stuck up!
