Sounds exactly like my brother! he makes good money but he has bills though. He's just stingy with his money and would rather trade you something that he deems to be of no value than part with his cash. He's like Scrooge McDuck!

She's not stingy, she just blows all of her money way too fast.

Just today she mentioned that she heard about the buy four - get three free night deal that Disney is promoting, and it doesn't sound like a bad deal. I told her it was a pretty awesome deal, and she got this maybe I should go look in her eyes.

Which is really funny, because she doesn't really like Disney World at all, (sometimes I wonder how we're related.) My parents took us for our 14th birthday, and she called it the worst birthday present she ever got. That was the first and only time she's ever been to Disney. But now she wants to go again. I don't know if it's because it's a way for her to spend money, or because she actually wants to go.

Ok so I go my Longevity award of $150 for being here for 10 years.
BUT now I am having a hard time trying to spend it!

I'd much rather get money then the "gifts" we get at my work.

BTW Cat I like pink.

And I have to report that I know an animator that did Bolt! Isn't that exciting? This is her first movie with Disney, before that she worked on Alvin and the Chipmunks.

That is so cool.

That is pretty cool! Can she get us free tickets?

Especially since Angel didn't take us to see Bolt with her.

I am so excited today!!
My bff her husband is in Kuwait. Their daughter, my Goddaughter, is very sick. Monday Dec. 1 will be headed to Childrens Hospital in Seattle. Anywhoo..her husband was awared a 30 emergency leave today!!
At 1 PM PST he will be boarding a plane for the WA!!

That's horrible. I hope she will be OK. I'm glad her dad gets to come be with her.

It is horrible. They are not sure if she has ITP or ALL.
Her WBCs are very low, her blood isn't clotting so if she were to get cut it could be fatal. She is only 2 so she doesn't understand why she can't do all of the things she had been doing.
Thank God for the Red Cross, without them this wouldn't be possible.
He has been gone for 7 months this time.

I had to take one of my kids to Children's once and it was actually a pretty cool place. They have done their best to make it look neat for kids and not so scary and hospital-like. She will be in good hands.


Does caramel corn make good breakfast or should I try to find something better? Dang it! That reminds me, I forgot my lunch at home.

I wonder if all those people who went to Twilight at midnight had a good time and if they enjoyed it? And I wonder if they got permission from the entire CB to see that movie?

I added a "fun size" Snicker bar to my caramel corn. Now it's more of a well rounded meal. Or am I going to be rounder? Either way it's more!

I just took a 2 hour nap. WOWSA! I haven't taken a nap like that in a long time. Just in time b/c I'm going out with my girly friends tonight. WOO HOO!

Misc weekend stuff I guess: Football end of year party, friends for dinner, going to see James Bond (we think we are young enough for that one.)

We let all of our kids have a friend over today so there are 6 kids in the house. My DH just grabbed the door handle and said he's going to meet his friend and started to run out the door. I stopped and asked where. He said in (next town over). I asked why? He said to meet his friend. I asked but why in (next town)? He tried not to tell me and finally told me he is meeting his friend and his wife, who is my friend, at a casino for a while.

Of course this didn't sound too good to me. Me home with 6 kids, him at casino with another couple. So I made him give me money! I said if you get to go do that then I want the same amount of money you will be gambling with. He said what for? I said because it isn't fair and maybe I want a new sweater for Thanksgiving. He slowly put $20's on the table until $80. Then he ran out the door.

Then he called me and said that wasn't very nice of me. WHAT???? He said he can't understand what would bother me about this. I said because never in a million years would you stay home with 6 kids while I was at the casino with "R" and "S", our friends. He said he can't understand at all why this would bother me.

So I ask my stink eye chicks to chime in. How would you feel?

Oh, he just called me to tell me about all the money he is winning. He got four of a kind at Pai Gow. Yippppeeee! It must be so fun for him!

OK good. Just makin' sure I wasn't alone here! Also when he got to the casino my friend told him right to his face that she would have been PO'd if she were me.

On another bright note, the kids stayed up late and I woke up to find my kitchen covered with silly string. It is looking like a lovely start to my weekend.

I hope Kohls is having a good sale, that's the only store we have in town and I'm going to be there when it opens!
