Well, we drove to drop her off. DH went too. Only b/c we were late b/c someone had to go potty (numero dos) right before we were to leave. I walked to pick her up. Ran a little b/c I was running late again. I'm normally not a late person, something about Fridays......

LOL, Angle! I never even noticed.

No surgery set yet. The doctor said that the two hospitals here are already booking in October for surgeries and she doesn't want to wait that long, so we're just hoping for an opening to pop up. We're hoping it will be in the next 3 weeks or so but we'll see.

Sorry Iw asn't on at all yesterday.

at about midnight on Wednesday night DH said his pulse was racing and his left arm was hurting so we rushed to the emergency room. FOURTEEN hours later, we learned nothing was wrong with his heart. he just had a bad panic attack. he is already on anxiety medicine but I guess they will have to up the dose. He is sooooooooo stressed over my surgery and hating his job etc. I told hm to quit and work at Olive garden for all I care as long as he's not killing himself!

So anyhoo, I am running on about 2 hours of sleep!

Sorry I missed your birthday Cat!

Tell that DH of yours to take care of himself! Plus, we need him to fill up the coolers, drive the yacht, etc. when we come visit.

I have another neighbor vent:

DH just called me, he had to call the cops again on the little hoodlum next door. As soon as his mom and her 'flavor of the day' left, he took a pack of firecrackers , lit them and though them out on his back deck to scare DD and DS. The police put him in a time out. They told him to stay in the house and if he came out again he was going to jail today.

If the little punk keeps it up he's going to have to call a proctologist to have my shoe removed from his @$$.



Only 43 more days......I have their foreclosure on my countdown calendar.

OMG! What a little punk! Tell your kids to bait him to get him outside so he can go to jail!

Breezy thanks to your avator I had to have a cinnamon roll for breakfast. But since I'm not at home, I am not worrying about it since I don't deprive myself on vacation. Even though this isn't a vacation, it's work, but this has been the only bad-for-me thing I've eaten this weekend, so I'm not going to obsess over it.

It didn't rain last night! Thanks goodness b/c we were watching our Sox blow the game. Elvis night was good though. Can't beat parachuting Elvis'. Our seats were awesome, 3rd row right next to the visitors dugout. I had my drink resting on the dugout!!!! Too bad our Sox lost though.

Yesterdays weather was crazy. It poured, then the sun would come out. It would pour again, sun would come out. Abby just changed into her suit and was about to swim and it started pouring.

Got a 'fun' update if anyone is interested. I went to the mall today with my aunt and DD & DS. While we were there DH called around 12:00, he said there was a van driving by slowly with a police car behind it. On the side of the van vandals had spray painted the B word and the W word (rhymes with boar). DH just happened to be in the kitchen and saw it. The van slowed down and pointed to the house next door. DH also said the woman on the passenger side of the van had a nurse uniform on. This is relevant because the little punk's mom is an RN. The police circled the block then went back to the house. They stayed for about 20 minutes. About an hour later they came back. They are looking for the little punk and are going to arrest him.
The kid supposedly wasn't home. We're sure the mom is covering for him. If I so much as even see his shadow over there I'm going to call the cops and let them know he's home. I'm assuming they are waiting until monday to get a search warrant to go in and get him.

I'm just wondering who the person was with the vandalized van.
I also wonder if the mom put him up to it since the passenger had a nurse uniform on. Maybe they'll put them in a mother/son jail cell.

I'll be so glad when all the drama around here is over, but it is exciting to see the punk and his mother get what's coming to them.

We got up early and went yard saling. Then We went to Best Buy and bought some computer games. Then I went grocery shopping while DH did the dishes. Then I started cleaning because we have company coming in a couple of weeks, so I am trying to make the guest room usable since right now its mostly a storage area. I was having a pretty great day until DH just came in and decided to talk politic. We don't agree on ANYTHING, and now I'm crying.

oh and somewhere in there I made dinner of shrimp skewers and baked potatoes, and made a bag of homemade pita chips and a container of homemade Edamame HUmmus

Ward, I hope they put that punk in jail!

Good morning! It is going to be a beauty today! 79 degrees and sunny! It was soooo miserably hot and humid yesterday. We had a wedding to go to. We didn't go to the ceremony, just the reception. They had the cocktail hour on an outside patio. It was HOT! It took us an hour to figure out to move to the fountain where there was more of a breeze and water. Then it was OK. I got married this same weekend 2 yrs ago and it was HOT! So, for anyone single on this thread, don't get married at the end of August!!!! My PSA for the day!

It was a very nice, fun wedding. HUGE & GREEK! The bride was on the dance team in high school so she and groom did a funny choreographed dance for their first dance. It started out slow and then was a mix of about 6-7 songs that were all fast. It was very cute & entertaining. They had a photo booth there too with props (silly hats, etc.) that printed your pic right there to glue in a scrapbook. DH and I never made it in there b/c the line was soooo long and moved soooo slow. I thought that was a cute idea! Stink eye to them for leaving for Tahiti tomorrow for almost 3 weeks!

Today, we are going to the Sox game! Wish me luck that my bf will be doing autographs. It is the last kids day of the year and they have an autograph session before the game. The lines are always long so you usually only have time to get 1 or 2 lines of players, 2-3 players in each line. I hope he's out there, for my DD, of course. My second choice would be Griffey.

The wedding sounded fun! Too bad it was so hot, though. It was CRAZY sticky yesterday. I told my husband....get used to it, one more month and this is what it will be like. And he goes "No, the sun will be out - it will be worse"

Sox came back and tied it in the 9th & won it in the 10th! WOOOT!

P.S. Abby got autographs from my bf, Carlos Quentin, and some other players...... Paul Konerko, Juan Uribe, and Matt Thorton!!!! I was so mad though b/c they wouldn't let you take posed pics with Carlos & Paulie for some reason. She was able to with Uribe & Thorton though.

That's funny about your cat. Our cats do the exact opposite, they won't leave us alone for days after we get back from a trip - it almost becomes annoying.

Our Sunday was good. Our neighbors had a birthday/cookout for their son and we had a great time - the party included adults too. The food was great and tons of it. I couldn't even eat dinner I was so stuffed from lunch/cookout. So I expect that sometime in the next hour or so I'm gonna get hungry and then eat right before bed. I hate that.

We took the Japanese girls to the zoo. The animals were extra entertaining today which was fun. Tomorrow I am taking them to the mall and then I work Tues through Fri so I can't do much more with them before they go home on Saturday. I'm going to miss them, but I need to get the house back in order and focus on back to school. Our school starts so much later than all of yours, Sept 3.

Also last night we took them to the casino which was fun. People everywhere were entertained watching them play slots and right before we left they wanted to try roulette which was a hoot. They had good luck though. My DH couldn't believe it.

We never did get them drunk. We spent a ton of money on Friday at the liquor store, but they drink so slowly it takes them about an hour per drink. We just can't get enough in them to make it even noticable.
