I would not think that these will come out if at all until after the current deadline for the FTP ends, which is June 29th. After June 29th I am thinking that Disney will redo it's occupency numbers and offer discounts accordingly. I will be very surprized if we see anything before June 29th.

I am waiting for Sept codes too. I am a DVC member and AP holder so the FTP doesn't work for me. I am hoping for a good code so I can try AKL for a few nights before or after staying at Beach Club Villas.

...what I'd like too! I'm looking for a good disccount for AKL Concierge, and the FTP doesn't offer anything for that!:(

kimmar067, did you just look on the disney site re: the FTP and AK concierge. I know that it is not an option on there. but a few weeks ago when i was trying to decide between the poly and ak, i call reservations directly. i asked about concierge at ak and she said it was available.......it was a couple hundred dollars less than the poly concierge. i guess it wouldn't hurt to call.:D

...funny you mentioned Poly, cuz' that'd be my 2nd choice:teeth: !

I hope there are codes for early October. Since the trip is only 5 days, the FTP really isn't a good deal for us. We won't have enough time to take advantage of the passes that comes with the package.

The Fairytale Vacation Package is good from 7/4/03 until 10/30/03, but the AP room only rate is open for 7/4/03 to 8/23/03.

I feel like the people in charge at WDW are short changing the loyal AP people. Give us the same "room only" discounts for the same time period as the non AP people. I e-mailed WDW about my displeasure with them not including AP holders in the room discounts. A women phoned me about my e-mail and couldn't see the problem with leaving the AP guests out of room discounts. She kept telling me how much they value their AP holders. I told her if they value us so much, then give us the same deals for rooms as the non AP people. I felt like I was talking to a wall.

After the phone call, I feel like the people in charge at WDW, don't care about their loyal customers.

I am going to write to Al Weiss about what I consider their non- concern about loyal customers. I realize WDW is trying to boost their sagging attendance with the FVP, but don't forget the regulars.

does anyone know of any codes for mid-June? we'd like to go 6/16 to 6/21. when I called 407 wdisney, they told me there were no deals being offered. everything was rack rate. does that sound right??

gary m -- in 2001 i seem to remember ap rates for the fall (november anyways, as that's when our trip was) came out in june. there is hope for ap rates yet.

i've heard that the ftp is going like hotcakes though, so i wouldn't hold my breath for regular (non-ap) room only codes for this summer.

jmho. :)

Funny you should say that. I emailed Disney with that exact sentiment. To my suprise, Disney called me!! She reassured me that they have withheld rooms for A/P holders and that the FTP will not shortchange us is any way. She also said that codes will be coming out "soon" for A/P holders. I told her we have our flight booked, but no hotel and that I'm getting nervous. She tried to reassure me, but I'm still holding my breath. Good luck to all of us A/P holders going after August 23rd.:earsgirl: :earsgirl:

Are you an A/P holder? if so use code Code CPZ. This should give you a discount up til 7/3. From 7/4-8/23 the code is Code RGM. I'm not sure if there is anything else out there. Good luck.

We, too, are holding our breath for discount codes for AP holders in November. I wish Disney would appreciate all of our advance planning and help us out some. It sure would relieve some stress of deciding whether to change resorts or not! But as with everything Disney . . . I'm sure there is a reason!

For the past several years, AP rates for the fall have NEVER come out until middle/late summer. I wouldn't worry this early. There are limited numbers of rooms Disney offers at the FTP rates.

I don't think it's because WDW is slighting their AP holders...and keep in mind, no one says that simply because you may hold an AP, that Disney HAS to offer room discounts....even tho they have been offered in the past, and it certainly is a wonderful thing, (and I personally have taken advantage of them), I consider them an extra perk to the fabulous entry fee for an entire year I get when I purchase an AP....just my humble opinion.

Don't get me wrong, Darlene, I don't think that I deserve them, they just sure are nice!!:sunny:

I know because I have an AP, I am not owed anything from WDW. To be honest, no matter how much I like WDW, we would not take 3 to 4 trips a year, staying in WDW resorts, without the AP room rates. Without the AP room discounts, I would probably not have an AP, because we wouldn't go enough to warrant it. We have stayed at a WDW resort 28 times since 1992, all but one trip in a deluxe.

We always go to WDW during the winter months. We do have a comeback room rate for Dec. 6-13, 2003, but no airline tickets as of yet. IMHO the rack rates for WDW hotel rooms are way over priced. WDW owes me nothing, because I have an AP and in return, I owe WDW nothing. DW and I are retired and travel to several places during the year, so we have other alternatives than WDW. Don't get me wrong, WDW is my favorite vacation spot, but if I feel like they don't appreciate our repeat business, then so be it.

Maybe I'm PO'd because of the indifference of the person that called me from WDW, in answer to my e-mail.

Hi Gary M,

It has been our experiance that AP room only rates for the last week of Aug through the end of Sept tend to come out after the summer AP rates. I have found the AP rates that are released for the time frame of end of Aug through the end of Sept (until the next "regular season") starts are better then the AP rates that are offered through the last week in Aug.

I am waiting for June 29th. I figure Disney will review the room occupancy and then make decisons from there.

Right now we have a comeback rate of $207 plus tax a night for a water view room at the YC. In years past we have gotten $189 a night plus tax a night for a water view room at the YC with an AP rate so I am taking a wait and see position.

We've got 227 with tax for a standard view room at BC. Last year my neighbor swore she got $180 plus tax with a room only code rate. Do you think the next batch of AP rates will be any lower than the ones running through 8/23? Our trip overlaps from 8/21-8/31.

It sounds like you are paying $204 or so a night for a standard view room at the BC before taxes.

It have been our experiance that AP rates for a standard view room at the YC or BC were as low as $169 and as high as $189 plus tax a night. I am hoping for $189 plus tax for a water view. This was the AP rate during Sept of 2000. Standard view that year was $169 plus tax a night.
