Still Very Nervous

I recently posted on here that I am going to DW to see DD perform at MK soon and I found out that she is performing prior to the Share a Dream Come True parade at 3:00 and my plane leaves from MCO at 6:50.

I am still SO nervous that I might not be able to see her march and make it to the airport on time.

I would appreciate any help or tips any of you can give me to make sure that I can see her march and still make the flight on time.

I did have someone say that they bands usually start before the parade, which is good, but is the parade ever late?

I am a first time flyer and a very nervous person!!

I have to be honest, this is not going to be easy.

A few questions
1. How are you getting to the airport?
2. Where is your luggage going to be?
3. Do you have to check luggage?

If you have to go back to your resort this makes it much harder. DME for example will have you leave at 3:45 or so. Seeing DD march at 3 and then escaping the MK, catching the bus etc is not going to be done in 45 minutes.

Will have the rental car packed and ready to leave for the airport straight from MK. Hoping this will help.

Then you should be OK. Just make sure the car is already filled up with gas. If you get to the car by 4 to 4:30 you will be just fine. I leave generally just over two hours in advance. The worst part will be getting to the car from the MK!

Which car rental firm are you using? Some car rental companies have off-airport locations which can confound one's attempts to return a rental car and check-in for a flight in short period of time. Thrifty and Hertz are off-site at MCO.

Can anyone tell me about how long it takes to return a rental car at the airport?

I am still freaking out over this whole "make it back to the airport" on time thing. I am an obsessive worrier and I don't want to miss the flight.

DD performs at 2:30 before the Share A Dream Come True Parade (or so that is what the itinerary says). I have a a rental car from Dollar which I will have to fill up on the way to the airport and I do have checked luggage. My flight leaves at 6:50 flying SW.

So do all of you experts think this is "do-able?" I am not going to miss this performance for anything!

Also, can someone give me easy and quick directions back to the airport?
