Nine Dragons
This was another last minute reservation. We left it until we go there to fill two TSs and there were very few places left. Luckily we all love Chinese so it seemed like a good plan. We were seated just as the only rain shower we saw began and any sign of it had gone once wed eaten.
For appetisers DF had Sha Cha beef skewers, which he had a bite and responded with holy cow- very unlike DF! Apparently it was very strong mustard flavour. He said it was nice once he rationed the sauce a bit. DM had shrimp and pork spring roles which were as youd expect really. I really wanted some noodles so went for a slightly strange starter of Sichuan dan dan noodles- spicy but very satisfying.
We didnt think there was very much choice for the main meal, with most of it coming in batter. Oh well, it was nearly the end of the holiday. DF had General Tsos chicken and DM had honey sesame chicken. I tried a bit of both- whilst DMs was nice it was VERY sickly and Im not sure I couldve eaten a whole plate of it. DFs had much less flavour and the batter was not as firm- he had this with fried rice which they would not substitute boiled for so we paid for it. I had sweet and sour pork and although it was nice, there were quite a few batter balls that were just that- batter! No pork. I started separating those containing pork and empty ones leaving quite a pile by the end.
We all had Ginger ice cream for dessert. It seemed odd at first, but I did eat a big bit of ginger stem. It actually grew on me pretty quickly. So, it wasnt as good as some of the Chinese weve had at home and I wouldve liked a bit more choice. If you have time to plan all your adrs I wouldnt pick this one.
$we didnt get a receipt with values on it, but was around $100 Rating: B

Park Fare
To finish off the holiday we had breakfast at the Grand Floridian with tigger, pooh, alice and the mad hatter. Now I really only liked tigger and pooh and alice didnt really stop by the table (fine by me), we had a lot of attention from tigger to make up for it!
The major bonus for this breakfast compared to chef mickey was the omelette bar with made DF much less grumpy. He had two and I had two- in my defence they were only little and yummy. The rest of the stuff was pretty similar to be honest and I got my quota of fruit for the day.
Money wise not a good use of a credit, but it was a nice experience and was a magical start to our last day in the MK.
