Still Sassy after all this time!

Hi Sassies! :wave2:

I miss you girls! Sorry I have been MIA. Life is crazy! So yeah, it's been a few weeks now since we signed our seperation papers. I am stressed out about what we will be doing about our living situation. We need to move out of where we are cause we can't afford it, but we aren't sure if we should continue being roommates, since neither of us can afford to live on our own. I would SO much rather live apart, but unfortunately, I don't make JACK SQUAT as a pre-K teacher!

On a good note, my man and I are still seeing each other, and he's coming again this weekend for a visit. :yay: Can't wait!

How are all you Sassies doing? I miss you hags!

Hey, Hagatha! I hope you get the living arrangements settled soon - I can't imagine living with a man I was currently divorcing! Is the man you are seeing the Florida man? Can you look for an preschool administrative job that might pay a bit more? Good luck!

Good afternoon, Sassies! I just picked Wally up from camp, so he is pooped out on his bed and live in the FOP household is peaceful. But not for long! Barney has a swim practice and then a dance, and BamBam has his Spring Fun Fair tonight so we will be going in different directions for a while. I can't wait for school to be out!

The llama farm was a success. It was all the way out in BFE and most of us got lost, but once there communing with the llamas was a wonderful affair. There was only one ill tempered llama (she had had a previous run in with several Boy Scouts) and she stayed on her own and kept her spitballs to herself.:thumbsup2 This llama lady has 100 llamas, they all have names, and she knows each one's personality. It's a hoot!

Sounds like there is much partying going on in Sassyland. Woohoo! Have fun, ladies!

Hello, Sassies? Anyone out there?:rolleyes1

It's going to be 90 degrees today! Bring on the heat. Wally won't know what hit him! We have obedience class today, and BamBam has a soccer game. What are the rest of you doing on this fine day?

Last night I drew the short straw and had to drive out to get Barney from his dance at school. Well, this was something I had never done before, so I was a little light on the procedure. Apparently, you are supposed to ask one of the kids at the door to go in and find your kid dancing around in the dark (according to Mr. FOP, this is the best way to avoid embarrassing your soon-to-be 12 year old boy should he be dancing with a girl.). Well, dumb me just strolled right into the dance, looking for him and (whoopsie!) there he stands, dancing with a girl. They were dancing some kind of box step primarily composed of swaying side to side and were a good two feet apart;). But, Barney was completely mortified that I had crossed the plane of the gym door and blushed all the way home:rolleyes1 Another lesson learned in the ongoing "How to Parent Your Middle Schooler" series. Stay tuned for more installments!

Have a great day, Sassies!

Wilma, shame on you :rotfl2: Dance crasher.

Shannon, Cole and I have the same birthday, does that help.;)

Tricia, :woohoo: for Kendall's party today. (it's storming here, thus inside stuff)

Giant suckers are wicked, I guess that's a good thing:confused3
I hope to not hear ABBA today:rotfl2:

I hear giggles, round 3 from the room, Party part 2

Have a nice Saturday Sassies!!

Happy Birthday, Kendall! And happy day to you to, Tricia, for making it all possible!;)

Hey Sassies! :wave2:

I hope everyone is having a great weekend! I am gaining weight, which as everyone knows, I cannot afford to do!! So I am gonna start being a little more careful about what I eat. (As soon as I finish this combo #6 from Taco Bell. ;)) I want to start walking too, now that the weather is nice.

Joe was here this weekend. (Yep, Wilma, that's Florida guy!). We had a nice-albeit short- visit. He wants me to get a passport, which I do not currently have. I got my passport photos done yesterday while we were in Alexandria, and now I need to find some time to go to the post office on my lunch hour and apply in person. He loves to travel and wants me to accompany him. <SIGH> It'll be hard, but I guess I'll have to let him drag me off to Europe or some place. ;)

Judi, how are you doing? More and more I realize what you have gone through and how brave you are! You rock, lady! You and Cole have the same birthday? WOW!! That's neat!

Tricia! How's everything going? Happy Birthday to Kendall! Dont know if I posted this, but your daughter's prom pictures were GORGEOUS!! She is really a beautiful girl.

Wilma, I did get your PM a while back, sorry I'm such a slacker! Thank you, I appreciate your thoughtfulness. You sound busy, lady! I hope it's a good busy though and not a pain-in-the-butt busy!

Bex, did I miss your Chicago pics? I was fully expecting some portraits of you giving some cheese to the skeevy el guy, or the Injection Fairy giving you a shot! How's Chet these days? Did you peep him for Easter?

Shannon, how are things going with the house and everything? Did you get my reply message on Facebook? Sounds great to me!!

Angus, you're going on a cruise???? You lucky doggie! I am sooo jealous! I've done two cruises (both on Disney). They are a blast!

Squid, hope you're doing okay, hag! When are you going back to FL?

Hi to all the rest of the Sassies! :grouphug:

Good morning Sassies!

Well Kendall's party was Saturday night and I think everyone had a good time. It sure did seem like all the kids were having fun. I had way too much food but that's sort of what I'm known for. Now we reep the benefits of the leftovers. :thumbsup2 She had 28 kids show up so that was much better than 40 to 45. All the kids were very well behaved which was a blessing. I haven't fooled with my camera yet but I'll post a few pictures when I get them uploaded.

Judi how did Cole's party go? I hope she had a great time. Thanks also for the birthday wishes for Kendall.

Oh Wilma I loved your story about Barney's school dance. How do they expect first time parents to know all the unspoken rules? Now you'll know when it's Bam Bam's turn.

Bonnie I hear you on the weight thing. I just can't seem to get myself motivated again. We are going to Disney in 27 days and my shorts from last year are getting a little snug. You'd think I'd stop shoveling in the food. Of course this weekend I used the excuse that it was Kendall's birthday. I already ate a piece of cake for breakfast. :sad2: Will I ever learn?

Angie I noticed your cruise ticker too? I've only gone on one cruise and it was a Disney cruise before they had their own cruise line. It was on the Big Red Boat. Anyone remember that? We had a really good time and I'd love to go on another one but Mark's not big on cruising. :confused3

Becca how's it going? Are the boys still swimming or are they between seasons now?

Shannon so did the house go on the market this weekend? I'm sure all your hard work will pay off and it will sell soon.

Julie, Kimmy and Mel where have you been? Come back.

Oh I almost forgot Squiddy. We can't have that now can we.

Good Morning

Pictures  I like pictures :woohoo:
Glad the party went well. Tricia, do all the kids there have camera phones as well? I mean, it's smile you're in my phone.

Look what the rest of you ladies have to look forward to, No Sleep. ;)
2 sassies on the dating scene, they're living it first hand.:rotfl2:

29 school days left. :teeth:

Good morning, Sassies! Tricia, I remember the Big Red Boat. Did you all enjoy it? I wonder what happened to the big red boat when they were done with it? Maybe we can renovate it and use it for Sassyland Headquarters!:thumbsup2

Hey, Bonnie! So good to hear from you - we've missed you! Glad to hear that things with Mr. Florida are going well.

Only four more weeks of school for me. How long does everyone else have? It's Mr. FofP's birthday today. Woohoo!

Hi Becca, Judi, Angie, Julie, Shannon, Kimmy and anyone else I forgot. Have a great day!

Judi I'm guessing all the kids have camera phones. I know they all have cell phones. Can you get one now that isn't? I don't think I've ever taken a picture with my phone. I know you can because I have a few from Disney that Kelsie took. I use the castle as my background. Always thinking of Disney every time I open my phone. :rotfl:

My kids have 19 days left of school. :teacher: Well, it's actually 20 but we're cutting out on the last day and leaving the day before that for Disney.

Happy Birthday to Mr. FOP.

Wow, this is a busy week in the birthday department. Two more tomorrow from Sassyland too.

Happy Birthday Mr. FoP party:

I have no pictures on my phone. Maybe cause I don't know how to use it. Everytime I turned around Friday night, phones were being aimed. Smile

Ack! I missed a hag sighting!!!

In answer to Bonnie's question - I am not returning to Florida any time soon! That's because he is coming here! :yay: He'll be here the 15th - 20th and the 19th is his birthday Bon - any ideas (keep them clean missy!)

Well I started working out with my personal trainer yesterday. Ok, so I'm sort of dating him. I know I was supposed to stop dating other people, but he's nice and really we're just friends. Ok, we're just friends in my mind. I don't want to hurt his feelings. I really suck at this dating thing. Help!!!!

Happy Monday everyone!

Thanks for the Mr. FofP birthday wishes, guys! That was nice!

Squid - dating a personal trainer? Sounds like a coup to me!

Time to go make dinner. Chicken parmigiana, salad and lemon bars. Yum!

Thank You:hug:

Good Morning

I don't feel a day over 38 for the 14th time. :banana::woohoo:

party::bday: Happy Birthday, Judi and Cole!

Good morning, all! It's going to be another hot one here today. Wally is not digging the hot weather. He seems to think that he needs to have his own personal water service to cool him when playing outside but it has yet to show up. Mystifying.

Barney's class is taking their standardized tests this week, so no homework. Pretty sad when mom gets more excited than child about no homework.

Gotta run and get Wally out before the sun gets too strong. Have a great day, Sassies!

Shannon's house goes on the market today. :wizard: quick sale
