Hey Girls. I leave for Vegas on Thanksgiving afternoon. We are staying at the Mandalay Bay and having MEXICAN for thanksgiving feast
I'm not a very traditional girl, so for me it's a dream come true.

We are getting another foot of snow today thru tomorrow

I did read Twilight and loved ONLY the first one, I really got bored on the next three.

Kimmy I stayed at the Mandalay Bay before (a couple of years ago) and it's beautiful. They even upgraded us to a Jr. Suite. We went for Mark's Birthday which is in August but we were really celebrating our 15th Wedding Anniversary. We had two celebrations in one. I hope they do the same for you. Are you planning on seeing any shows while you are there?

Tricia: You are quite a motivator! If you get all your Christmas decorations out, I will too. Well, when we get back from Ohio, that is. Probably Sunday.
Some of the boxes will have to wait until the contractors are finished in the basement though.

Last, I feel like I can speak for Mel when I say "HELL no she does not miss snow!!" Or maybe that's just me?

Good morning sassies!

Well my house looks like Christmas in the inside and fall on the outside. I can't bring myself to put up the outside decorations until after Thanksgiving. There are several houses in our subdivision that are all decked out already. Yesterday the kids and I pulled out all the suff from the attic. Everything except the tree. Yes we had an artificial tree. I do miss going to the tree lot and picking out a beauty but Kelsie has allergies and the Dr. said no real tree for us. We do have a very pretty pre lite tree I bought last year. One of the stings of lights went out last year so I'll have to remedy that before the ornaments can go on.

Shannon have fun in Ohio. Is that where you are from?

Kendall and Colin are sleeping at my mom's tonight so I'll be bringing them over today and I need a hair color (which my mom does for me). Pre holiday hair treatments are a must.

I'm looking forward to going to Weight Watchers today. I hope to get pumped up just enough to not blow it tomorrow. I intend to eat a little of everything I want and have dessert just not eat like I would have in the past. It is Thanksgiving after all. Hopefully I'll have a loss today which will make me not want to blow it tomorrow. I still have some things to make for tomorrow so today will be a bonding experience with my kitchen.

What! How can this be? No one has posted since me early this morning. I hope you are all cooking up a storm for the big day tomorrow because I miss you guys. Oh, I'm down 2.5 pounds this week. That blue exercise dress seems to be working.

It looks like it's time for a Thanksgiving bump.

Way to go Tricia! Keep up the good work! I'm I'm the car. On my way to DH's family for Turkey Day. We stopped at Bob Evans for my "birthday dinner. " LOL
Not my first choice, but my other options were Subway or McD's.

Good morning Sassies! Brian and his friend took the turkeys to the place where they make them ready to be eaten this morning. He was out of bed at 4 am. I hope I get a little smaller one this year, I didn't have a roasting pan big enough last year and nothing else would fit in the oven with it.

Kimmy, have a great time in Vegas! Where are you staying? I hope you win a lot of mooolahhh!

Tricia, I don't think Judi has read Twilight either. Have the girls read it?

Shannon, I'm not making you look bad. I have only purchased the wrapping paper, I have yet to wrap a gift. I think I'll power wrap Thursday whilst the turkey is cooking.

Bonnie, I'm looking forward to Harry Potter too. How much longer? Oh and the Vampire licked the rock and it bit him in the rump.

Wilma, where are you? Sure start the thread and disappear again. You are so mysterious!

Heather, glad you found us, now you can show up more often!

Squiddy, I agree with your analysis about Twilight. Especially the clothes Edward wore. I was muy disappointed in that! But the hair was cool and I'm trying to talk one of my boys into growing theirs like it!

I'll have you know that this is the only corner in the world in which I am considered mysterious! So, I must keep my reputation alive you know. What size turkey did you end up with?

Shannon - the meet went well. Little guy survived his 50 yard breaststroke (giggling all the way, I might add ) and his 50 freestyle as well. Plus, he did his 25 Butterfly in a legal manner so that I did not have to disqualify him . Barney managed to qualify himself for Christmas championships in Annapolis in December, so off we go.

QOTD - what is your favorite Thanksgiving dish? Pumpkin pie for me. I could eat a whole pie! Take the rest of the dinner away, and leave me in a corner with a pumpkin pie. What about you?

Happy Black Friday! I am up in plenty of time to hit the stores but the people I have left to buy for isn't what's on sale today. I am however hitting the Game Stop because I have been on a quest for a Wii Fit and they have it advertised. They don't open until 7:00 today so I didn't have to hit the streets at 4 or 5 AM.

I just read an article in the paper that Monday will be "Cyber Monday". Places like Overstock.com, Smartbargins.com and Buy.com as well as Walmart and a few others will have big Cyber sales starting Monday. So if you didn't get all the gifts you went after today there's still hope.
