Still Recovering!!!

We just got back from 11/14/02 4-Day Wonder. It was great. What can I say?
This cruise was a very different experience for me as the last cruise I was w/DH and the three darling children. This time I was accompanied by 3 friends-no kids. I can say this cruise has something for everyone.

So, for adults, there were so many things to do-we went to ESPN zone for Beer and sports trivia, Wavebands every night for 70's Night, Krazy Karaoke or 80's night. The Cadillac Lounge w/Kenne and Martinis was very cool.

Relaxing on deck by the Quiet Cove pool, and then watching the sunset on the upper deck 10.

We went to Palos and had a great time-food and staff were excellent!!

Castaway Cay -SERENITY Bay. We parked our chairs and the rest of our bodies in the water for the day. It was amazing.
Christian brought us Konk Coolers.

We met some great, fun people and by the second night of the cruise many of the crew knew us by name.
Reflexology/massage at the Vista Spa and the Rainforest.

A personal highlight for me was that a very popular ex-Yankee firstbaseman was on board w/his family. He was very nice.

Some great staff-Csaba, Dubi, Steve, Dianes and Mic-and of course-SOUL SISTER!

Can't wait to go back. Oh wait, I am on 12/5 3-day with family. I will have to bribe the staff to forget what they saw on my 4-day girls night out!!

You're not talking about Tino Martinez are you? If so, I wish I knew that we are HUGE Yankee fans.

Yes it was Tino. we first had a Tino spotting on the top deck for the bon voyage on first day. we didn't harrass him, but he knew we knew who he was. Nobody else seemed to notice him111 He looked our way, nodded, said hello, kept walking w/his family. We were acknowledged!! There were other numerous Tino spottings throughout yhr trip. On day 3 I practiccally bumped into him as I was at the beverage station on pool deck. I
turned , he was there and I looked up and said"I have been trying so hard not to bother you." He smiled and said" How are you doing?" I said"We miss You" He laughed, and then asked how the cruise was, etc. small talk w/ Tino-how cool.

Spoke w/ a woman who was sitting w/ him at dinner and she had to ask him what he did and his name-she had no idea!!

I think it is great he can go awayw/family anf not get totally stalked!
definately a treat for me.
