Still Dreaming! A Room for the Earless :'(

Okay...FIRST OF ALL, let me thank HOST HULA from the bottom of my heart!!! Her fingers are probably falling off by now from all of that typing. She was amazing and a pleasure to be around. So many people showed up in my room tonight and many "hung out" with hopes that someone would show up and finally grant their wish for ears. Hula did it not only once, but probably about 5 or 6 times. Full rooms of players all received ears...the first group genuninely seemed to NOT have them, I can't speak for everyone else in line!!

Thanks Aengus for the free bumps and everyone who posted postive comments and helped to bring this up to the top! I'm grateful that so many dream wishes were granted in my room!

After about the 5th or 6th time, I was booted from my own room (LOL)! I got a message not to return for a little while. People got a message when they arrived that stated that the owner left the room. My understanding was that they were collecting the titles of everyone who was there & were giving out the ears to everyone who came to the room. I got a message saying that I could go back to my room & that they just wanted to give ears to all who were waiting. So, if they didn't show up in your inventory, check when you get back into VMK.

Also, some time near closing, we went back to the room and VMK_Lion showed up. It appears that he too was giving out some ears & trying to get those last minute wishes fulfilled.

Thank you so much to everyone who went above and beyond in making the players happy (staying well past the hours mentioned). I'm sure there are still people who have NOT gotten ears, but the effort in trying to reach those players was truly remarkable.

Wow! I got goosebumps reading this. When the line dropped considerably, I came to see how you were doing and got the boot. That clearly explains it. How cool is that, hopefully many ear less received ears in your room last night.

When we saw the line dropping like crazy, we were thinking that was the end of hope for the earless. However, many earless peeps in that line were delighted to find some in inventory!

Thank you for all of the positive comments...they truly keep me going!

For those of you who have sent messages, I did NOT get the castle suite. My goal was not a selfish one in opening that room. My desire was to see earless players get the chance to finally get some dream ears. It appears that over 300 people who came to my room indeed received ears.

I found out that some of the earless people who stopped by last night were surprised to find more than one pair of ears in their inventory!

Host_Hula stopped by from around 9:30 last night & stayed until around 10:30 giving out ears. VMK_Lion dropped in at around 11:45 and stayed until closing.

Once again, I must thank them for granting so many wishes in that room!!!

The chairs were moved around earlier by Hula and me to make it easier to give ears to everyone, so the room looks a little different.

Eaglesgirl, glad to hear your room was successful. Sorry I couldn't have waited around long enough to get my own set, but I'd been there for something like 2 hours and it was getting late. Congratulations to all dream prize winners! Hopefully next time around I'll be able to join your ranks.
