Has anyone had a sticky mickey lately from Concourse Steakhouse? I had originally heard they were delish, but lately I heard they have "cheapened" them and they aren't nearly as good. Also, can I order this "to go" if I want due to time constraints? As a lover of cinnamon buns this sounded yummy.

The deal with the Sticky Mickey is yes, they have gone downhill. They used to be the prime attraction at CS. They were brought out for everyone to share before the meals arrived and they were gooey and warm and sticky and...sigh...now gone. What they have replaced them with is a cardboard and glue Sticky Mickey imitation. Seriously - we used to get an extra one because they were so good. Last year we had to ask for one (extra charge) and couldn't even get it down. Like so much, the days of the Sticky Mickey have passed...

Well, I just had one on our last trip and I thought it was fantastic. I did not have the opportunity to try the old version, but this one was very good. It comes out looking kinda like a popover and there is a ton of sticky stuff in the bottom to dip your cinnamony bread in. I really liked it and would definitely order it again. I think that if you aren't comparing it to the old version, you will be pleased.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaand when I saw the title of this thread, my first thought was that a Sticky Mickey is what you get near the end of a character breakfast after all the waffle-eating children have been mugging it up with our favorite mouse. :)
