**I'm just curious for those of you who are "planners" did you stick pretty close to your intinerary? We are making our 1st WDW trip Oct 2005; we have a wide range in age 3 - 75 y/o..so I know our pace will have to be on the slow side..

I have mapped out using Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet, what our "must sees" are for each park/what day we plan to attend that park.. Is this going overboard or is it good to stick with somewhat of a plan?

Also, for MMNSSHP? I read on one of the forums, you do not need to use your PH for entry, only the separate ticket you purchased? Anyone know if this is true? If so great, b/c then we will try to plan that on a day we weren't going to the parks.. (4 day ph's/6 days in Orlando)

Thanks for your help!

Well, this is our first trip -- mine anyway --- since 1986. But in general, we plan out the "must do" stuff and stick to it. Then we allways allow for "free" days.

With Disney, it seems, you need to make a lot of reservations, so you do need to stick to the plan if you want to experience what is important to you.

I, personally, like to "wing it", but my wife is a whole lot less adventurous than I am.

I once took her to Mexico, with nothing planned except the days we would be there, and a general idea of where we would stay! Worked out PERFECTLY, though I would never do that again, just so I didn't have to listen to my wife worry / complain.

for MNSSHP you ONLY need the Halloween ticket - no park hopper tick needed

we're planning on a pool/lunch day before MNSSHP
