Songwriter Mark McDuff had everyone in tears this week with his moving tribute to Steve Irwin called To Change This World. McDuff and wife Lisa only had two days to come up with the lyrics for the song sung by barely known Brisbane singer Dan McGahan. "It was quite a painful few days thinking of the lyrics and it wasn't till Daniel started singing it in the recording studio on Monday that we thought it was okay,'' he said. McDuff chose Daniel over another other muso in the country to sing the tribute. "He was the right guy. He did a great job.'' McDuff has been working with Steve composing songs for the family for several and composed the music to the Hollywood blockbuster Collision Course.
