I've suffered from mild tinitus for years now, normally I"m so used to it and it's so mild that I do'nt even notice it.
Last week I was placed on a high dose of steroids due to an accute asthma attack, and my tinitus got markedly worse. Now I feel like I've got a symphony rining in my ears, the left is worse than the right.
I'm wondering if there's a relationship between the change and the steroids. Has anyone ever had this happen? Did it go away with time?
I've got a doctor's appointment later today, and will ask, but other people's annecdotal experiences are good to know as well.
TIA!
Anne
