Stern Fan Thread?

OMG! sometimes when i am listening to howard i just wanna die he is so funny!

when he does ted kennedy on the phone- it is THE most funniest bit in the world! errrrrr....aaaaa.......

so what did the stern fans think of the artie/dice fight?

i think artie was off base- he seemed irrational......very out of character for him. i kinda felt sorry for dice- and i never thought that would be possible!

Sorry, gotta go with Artie on this one. I would think that he would have been overnighted a check or something on Monday when he started talking about it.

I love Howard Stern. I nearly pee my pants every day.

I think the Artie/Dice thing made for good radio. I have to wonder how serious Artie really was. I think the audience was the winner in that one.

Sal annoys me to no end. UGH.

artie DID seem really mad! i have never heard him like that!

i must agree with howards father that both artie and dice have different business practices and i guess they should have made it clear before the show.

but like someone said (maybe robin) the other day- she asked artie if he expected to be paid for the entourage show right away- i doubt he will. but i really think it was miscommunication on both of their parts that led to the fight!

ugh-- sal makes me sick. he is such an angry bizarre person- but on the other hand- some of the bits he does are funny! OMG the way he talks about his wife is crazy- if i were her- i dont think i would stick around. (he probably want to be with richard anyway!)

ha! did you hear howard doing the pope this morning-he always sounds like dracula when he does that!

Yeah, they came back on Monday! Those were some of the two longest weeks EVER. Since I have heard nearly every show, the replays were ZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

yes! finally! i was going through withdrawl. i know i could have listed to some of the replays from other dates- but i cant get into them. its kinda weird if its not in the "here and now" i dont wanna listen. even when he was on FM and they played the "best of" even if i never heard the show-- i didnt want to hear it if it wasnt live.

i think because i love to hear the little funny things that are said, not necessarily the interviews and the highlights.

the news is great when they chime in on that!

cant believe howard is off again today.......i know he hates when people complain about that--but geeeze he JUST got back!

i HATE listening to the friday show just as much as i hate the aftershow!

it sounds like they are trying too hard- ralph is usually ok when he calls in (most dont like him) but the aftershow just stinks.

well thank god sirius has some great music stations- off to stream sirius 16- the vault for some great classic stoner rock while i work!

I've been listening to Howard since he hit the airwaves in Philly back in the early to mid 80's. I LOVE his show, but I still turn the dial when he has the bimbo strippers on.

I'm SO glad he got all his old shows back. I was sad to think I'd never hear the Beetlejuice song again

And how perfect is George Takei as the announcer? I don't think they could have chosen anyone else with a better sense of humor!

I may be a little harsh, but I think it's total BS that he has nearly every Friday off. God, the guy has something like 12 weeks vacation a year!! WTH?? That's the one thing that really ticks me off about him

I thought for sure since had just been off for two weeks he would be there today. NOPE. The Friday show is just not worth listening to. SOMETIMES the after show can be fun, but NEVER the Friday show. I understand Howard wanting his vacation time, but COME ON.

I wonder if Robin is out on her boat causing mass destruction.

I listened for a few minutes today, but I can't stand how high pitched Howard's voice sounds on the old tapes. I did get a lot done while they were on vacation however!

OMG! how funny was that- didnt sound like she was going to tell anyone until that guy called in and ratted her out

did you hear howard yesterday (or wed) talking about how when she took him out on her boat she was in a gown! i LOVE when they bust on her about her boat.

when he was on FM i used to have every radio on in the house so that no matter where i would go- i wouldnt miss a thing.

but now he is on sirius, i have the one boombox and its kinda hard to drag that thing around and mess around with the antenna all the time! so i do miss some things when i get in the shower. (i even have a shower radio and i would turn it on in there when he was on fm!)

thank god though you can now listen to him online- i work from home so now instead of dragging the boombox downstairs (and having to run and turn it down when the phone would ring- some things are just a tad bit racey now that he can say what he wants ) i have it right here at my desk!

Another Howard fan here. I love G. Takei. I am unsure about how mad Artie was. I think I am biased here. I don't like dice. I cannot believe Sal's wife has not left him. I did not hear all of the Robin boat stuff. I am not home as much as I used to be so I can't hear all of the shows. Listening online now, it is better than using my box, with all that aquiring signal stuff!! Ah!
