Stephanie, your food choices are lookin' good! You seem to recognize when you've stayed within your points but not made the best choices (all those yummy treats the other day). The great thing is that you don't let it derail you! You're always right back on plan!

I weighed in today at 173. My measurements are still the same as the last time I weighed in. Waist 35, Tummy 36, Hips 43.

Breakfast - english muffin w/pb 5pts
Lunch - italian wedding soup 4pts
Dinner - steak 9pts
2 boneless buffalo wings 6pts
mashed potatos 5pts
french onion soup 5pts
garlic toast 4pts
Total 38pts
10 flex points used


I did the pilates thigh and butt routine. Those areas definitely need some work.
I went to Applebee's for dinner and went a little overboard since I hadn't eaten much the rest of the day. Oh well, 10 flex points isn't too bad.
 
hey stephanie, 10 flex points really isn't bad :). it's worth it to use those flex points for a night out to dinner. no need to feel deprived. sounds like it was good and yummy ::yes::. have a great day tomorrow! :)

Salad 5pts for dressing but it's probably less

Still no exercise yet. I really have no excuse since I'm home all day today but I bought some new Sims expansion pack games and I wanted to try them out.

I did get off the couch and do 1 mile on the treadmill. And now all the cinnabons are out of the house and I only ended up eating 2/3 of one all week.

I went in to work today. Some of the roads were still pretty bad and they'll only get worse as the day goes on. I'm supposed to work at the mall tonight too untiol 10:30. I'm hoping that they call me and tell me not to come in. Even though we're only supposed to get 3inches of snow down here the ice will be pretty bad by that time and I am so fearful of driving in this weather. I'm hoping to do my Pilates routine again today. My abs are finally not hurting too much so I think I'm ready for another round.

I got to come home from work after being there an hour. It was pretty bad coming home but I took it slow and made it home safely. I hadn't planned on coming home so I had eaten what I thought was going to be dinner but since I was home I ate some soup. Still within points though so not too bad.

No exercise yet. I'm so cold and was too nervous about going to work to get any in before work and now I think I might be too tired. Hopefully I'll get up and do something.

Isn't it nasty outside? I don't like the idea of you working at the mall tonight. :( Do you carry a cell-phone? Schools up here opened on schedule, but closed at 11 a.m. I'm supposed to teach this afternoon, but I'm not sure if anyone will want to come. :confused:

What kind of apple cinnamon oatmeal are you eating for only 2 pts.? I've been making my own special blend :p , but the lowest I can get it to be is 3 points. Give me some pointers here!

I'm sorry about your friend--to have breast cancer at such a young age! I can't even imagine it. I'll pray for her.

Well, I'm off to figure out something for lunch. For some reason, I'm craving egg salad.:confused:

hey stephanie, good job with the cinnabons! i know it's hard to resist when something you really want is sitting there. personally, i don't like cinnabons, but i have plenty of other vices that call my name :p

that stinks that you had to go into work with the bad weather. i hope you don't have to work tonight...it's only going to get worse. nothing has made it here to jersey yet, but i know it's coming. please be safe if you do have to be out in it! i'll be thinking about you :)

I am so hungry today, thank goodness its almost lunch time but I'm not sure how I'll make it until after 7 for dinner (I work at the mall 3-7). I went into the office 2hrs late today. By the time I got on the roads most were pretty good except for the neighborhood roads.

I was so hungry that I got a salad once I got to the mall. It definitely was better than getting pizza or sweets. I was very proud of myself for getting something good for me.

I really NEED to get some exercise in today. I promised myself I'd do 3 days a week of exercise and so far I've only walked once and did the butt/thigh pilates once. I think I'll do pilates tonight and walk before class tomorrow since the walking takes less time. I did shovel the steps and walk at home but that only took about 10 minutes so I'm not really counting that.

Yea! I did the beginner pilates routine again. I'm starting to get familiar with the moves but it doesn't really feel like a workout. I guess it is working though, right? I'm sure I'll feel it tomorrow anyway.
 
Hi, Steph. How's it going today? Why is it some days we're just plain HUNGRY? Do you have any trident gum handy? That always helps me when I get the munchie monster on my back.

Have a good Wednesday, and be careful on the roads. I think the worst is over for awhile. . .

I now what you mean about just being plain old hungry!::yes:: The gum trick could help, plus it is probably easy enough to get. I like to keep a box of Honey Nut Cheerios at work. 1 cup = 2 pts and boy, that stuff really stays with me and fills me up! Or keep some 0 pt foods in the work fridge, like carrots, celery, broccoli....(just for these kinds of days!:crazy: )

Stephanie, be careful on those roads. I can't WAIT for Spring to get to PA!! Guess I have a while to wait, huh?? :crazy: I agree with the other posters who suggested keeping some low point snacks handy. You should not have to be hungry, girlfriend!

Well Dan told me we were going to Outback for dinner since Friends is a rerun. I checked out Dotties site and it looks like I won't have to go into flex too much to have a yummy dinner. I went a bit nuts instead of sticking to my plan. Oh well, tomorrow is another day.

I did another mile on the treadmill today, most of it at 3.4 instead of 3.0

I am so glad the week is almost over. Even though I wasn't as busy as usual b/c of the snow it's been hectic anyway. I have off on Sat and I'm only on call on Sun so I'm heading to Atlantic City Friday night after work at the mall.

Atlantic City for the weekend sounds great! Enjoy yourself! It is important to make the most of your down time, especially when you don't have much like you! My DH works every Sat, so I know how much a weekend off means.

Try to stay OP this weekend, but don't stress too much about it. Hope the rest of your day is good and tomorrow too.

Well I am all out of flex points and I still have 2 days left. I'm going to try very hard to keep on plan but with eating in AC tonight and tomorrow afternoon and having dinner tomorrow with my mom it might not work out. I will get in a little exercise tonight when I walk from where I am staying to where I'm eating dinner but it won't be that much.

I didn't end up in AC this night. I was halfway there when Dan called so I turned around and about 7miles from home I had a flat tire on the interstate which took over 2 hrs to change b/c of the traffic and cold. I'm headed to walmart this morning to get a new tire and then i'm off to AC for the day and then dinner with mom. I'm still going b/c how I look at it is that if I had continued on to AC I wouldn't have gotten the flat or at least not until Sat afternoon when I was on my way to my mom's house which wouldn't have been on a highway. Plus I'm not gonna let some car troubles ruin my weekend.
 
hey steph, don't sweat the outback. sure, you went a little overboard, but you're right back on track today. friends being a rerun threw me off too! hate it when that happens. i'm used to watching my tv on thursday nights. oh well, live and learn.

and even though you're going to be going out to dinner, i know that you will be able to make good choices and stay as close to plan as possible. will it be tough turning down the food? heck yes, of course it will! but i know that you can do it. but if you do end up giving in, don't beat yourself up about it. just look forward and move on.

where are you staying in atlantic city? whenever i go down with my parents, we stay at the trop. my dad gambles a bit, so he gets comps (he spends time in vegas too). at the trop, they have this great italian restaurant called "il verdi". oh man. so good.

Thanks for the words of encouragement. Steak is my downfall. Good thing I'm not planning on counting points when I go to WDW in May b/c I plan on having steak at least once everyday :rolleyes:

I'm staying at the opposite end of the boardwalk. I have a comp room at Showboat and some food comps there and at Resorts which is two doors down so I don't planning on spending any money on food, just gambling lol. Hopefully I'll come back on Saturday a little bit richer :goodvibes

Sometimes Dan makes me so angry. He decided not to go to a wedding today so that means that I not only can't go to AC but I also won't get to have dinner with my mom. I am really in a bad mood today! :mad:
 
Hang in there Stephanie! Husbands can be soooo irritating at times, huh? We've all been there, done that.

It can be so difficult to have our plans thrown out the window!Just don't let your bad mood translate into going off plan. Use your steam for exercise instead!::yes:: Stay OP as much as possible and try to go with the flow.

Sharon - Dan's not my husband but he's close enough and unfortunately days like this happen more often than I'd like. I'm very proud of myself for not binging today. I didn't get any exercise in since I spent much of the day trying to get a new tire and wheel stud for my car. I have a tire now but I have to wait until tomorrow, if I don't get called in to work, to get that done.
