Alright. Because of these boards. Im ADMITTING im obsessed. So here it is…..My Fairy Tale Disney Birthday.
I should start with some background. I turned 20 April 12th, And we celebrated my birthday early because all of my friends and I are in school, and The weekend of April 1st through the 3rd was the only weekend we could all meet up.
So because I am celebrating my birthday, I decide, I’m going to milk it for all its worth. I want attention, I want free stuff, its my birthday. Its like the one day your allowed to do that. So the plan was Friday – go to Downtown Disney dressed like pirates (we all have a pirate obsession), Hit all four parks Saturday, riding our favorite rides and taking great pictures. And than my friends leaving Sunday, and my boyfriend picking me up and us hanging out that evening, since he lives 30 min from Disney, and I live 2 and half hours from Disney.
Day 1 – Friday April 1st (april fools day)
So Friday, I leave at 12:00 to finish getting supplies and drive to Tampa to meet Brian, so we can take his car. Becky and Josh are meeting us from Gainesville, and Kevin is driving from Bradenton (where I live) later that night, as he has to work. So I finally get on the road at 4:00, arriving in Tampa at 5:30 (ugh traffic) And meet up with my fantastic friend Brian who promptly gets his stuff together, and we leave for Disney World.
We arrive at the glorious All Star Music Hotel around 6:30. And promptly check in, and check out our room. Becky and Josh meet us there a little while later, and I pull out the goodie bags. I gave them each a bad with: an eyepatch, an earing, a pirate prop, a tattoo, a water pistol, and the words to A Pirates life for me.
The boys also got pirate hates from Long John Silvers. The girls brought their own bandannas. (mine had tinkerbell on it..)
So we went to downtown Disney and proceeded to pilage, plunder, rifle and loot. (jk) But my pirate prop was a recorder (flute-thing) seeing as I am a music major, I played A pirates life for me, as my friends sang. We went in each shop, basically putting on a show for the people at downtown Disney.
When we went into the 10.00 and under store, the CM was so astounded by how awesome we looked that she gave me one of her pins, I got to choose, and I chose Mr Incredible. (my first pin ever!) We got so much attention and people actually took pictures of us for their own family album!! We went in world of Disney and tried on hats and looked at toys and had a wonderful time. I bought my autograph book and promptly had anyone who wished me a happy birthday ( I had a birthday pin on) sign the book. We hopped back on the bus and went back to the hotel, Met up with Kevin, ordered pizza and talked until 4am.
