It's ok Carebee. We all have days like those and those book fairs are tough! I always see so much that I want.

Another $0 day for me! I've been working 10 hr days for the last 3 weeks. Doing this much over time has helped me go out less (and spend less) and have more money in my budget! Pretty exhausting though. But because I'm so tired, there's no way I can go out to spend money.

There's another bridal show coming up at the end of the month. I wonder if I should go...

Grocery Shopping today. Did really well except for the fact that I was going to plan the pizza last night as part of groceries and I think for us it makes more sense for it to be part of misc. So all in all pretty good. I stayed under budget with household ($48.50), but went over a little with groceries since I thought of some things we needed after I already made my list ($111)

I think next month I'm going to have to start keeping track of my groceries and looking at that number. I feel like I'm buying groceries all the time and the number keeps creeping up higher and higher.

Hey all! I have tried No Buy days a few times on this board, but not for quite a while. Definitely need to get my spending in check, particularly food/groceries/dining out as well as the extra household "stuff" we NEED to have.

I love some of the suggestions. I like the Friday-Friday budget but it is probably easier for me to start Monday to Monday for the rest of this month. d I am going to use this as a guideline for the week: $125 for groceries, $50 for household, $50 misc spending (lunches, treats, etc.)

When recording my spending I will always round up by $ amount. I don't include change.

Groceries/Household
:$180.00/$200
Gas $90/$150 (I lowered this one due to no longer working)
Eat Out:$141.00 /$150 (raised DD's birthday)
