Full disclaimer: I am a daily weigher. I've weighed myself everyday for close to 20 years.
That being said, I've watched the scale go up and up and up for the past 20 years.
About 6 weeks ago I decided to count calories (using the Lose It app) and joined a pretty intense Boot Camp (3 times per week and walking 3 miles a day on my off days).
In 6 weeks, I've only lost 5 pounds.
But, I'm not complaining:
It only took 20 or so years to realize that it is not just about the number on the scale - it is about the inches lost and the changes in my body.
I recommend that everybody on this journey take photos and/or measurements as they tell the real story.
