This is what's called joining the "Balcony Club", kind of like the "Mile-High Club" for cruise ships. If you stroll on over to Cruise Critic you will find many discussions on this. Plan to renew my membership in December on Freedom of the Seas.

Couldn't find any reference to it on CC, but we became members of it 10 yrs ago. RCCL cruise though, but adventurous enough. (Yes it was dark and we were at sea!)
