I know...it's one of THE most debated topics...but periodically, you get a whole new crop of readers with a whole new crop of opinions! So here we go again.....where's the best steak?
We've narrowed it down to Concourse...LeCellier...Shula. Cast your vote please!

Thanks, Mike....heard mixed things about Yachtsman, so it didn't make our family's cut list....but let's expand the list and make it those four and see how votes finish!

My family votes for Le Cellier......we have made it a priority every time we are in WDW. The filet mignion is to die for. I cleaned my plate so well, the waiter didn't even need to clean it for the next guest!!LOL!!

Another vote for LeCellier--I had the 7 oz. filet mignon last Friday night--excellent. The cheese soup is also a must.

La Cellier cheese soup is a bowl of heaven, and even an idiot like me can make it! We tried this last Saturday to mourn our return, and liked it so much we're simply buying larger clothes and having it every night for a while. The recipe can be found at:

DH and I go to Le Cellier every trip now. He even asks me beforehand, "You made our PS for Le Cellier didn't you?" - LOL He's worse than I am when it comes to steak. I must confess we've never tried Shula's. So I can't compare it to that one, but we liked Le Cellier better than concourse for service, food and atmosphere. Just my opinion. Hope you have a great time no matter where you choose!

The best steak I've ever tasted is at Flying Fish Cafe. I've had it 3 times and it's always wonderful.

Service is impeccable and the food wonderful.

Le Cellier, I think has become too popular and kind of gone down a bit. But they do still have the best chedder cheese soup.

We have had steak at YSH, Le Cellier and Shula's. While YSH and Le Cellier are good, Shula's is head and shoulders them. It is simply the best beef I have ever had. It is pricey but worth every penny. The portions are huge so with an a la carte the sides can be shared.

For as much as I endorse Shula's they should buy my dinner.

another YSH fan here... it's one of THE best steaks/dining experiences we've ever had... DH is SO looking forward to going back!

Having just done Shula's, I'd now give the nod to them for the best (and largest) steaks. Better than Ruths Chris and about equal to Mortons.
But to be sure, YSH has fine steaks, and you can get a good steak at Jiko and the Flying Fish.

aring75, the "creeping ooze" is Sauce Foyot and I swear it's addicting. You'll wish they had given you more. It's a bearnaise-ish sauce (only better than any bearnaise sauce I've ever had.) You can order the steak without the sauce, but you'd be cheating yourself.

But the taste of the steak is exceptional in itself, even without the sauce.

I might try it, but I'd never hear the end of it from my DH. He believes that a good steak shouldn't be "ruined" with "fancy" sauces!! He won't even use a steak sauce! I'll have to decide if it's worth his lecture to try it out or not.

If your DH gives you grief, tell him he hasn't lived until he has had Steak Oscar - filet, topped with asparagus, crab and bearnaise. It is truely a piece of heaven on earth.
