Steakhouse 71 Takeout on Checkout Day

We will be staying at the Contemporary in a couple weeks and were considering getting Steakhouse 71 to go for lunch on our checkout day.

I have noticed in the app when attempting to create a to go order that it states that the ability to place one is only available to guests of CR or BLT.

We will have already checked out by the time we would be placing our order. Is this like using the pool on checkout day and we will still be able to order, or will I be locked out of the order placement functionality in the app?

Guest privileges are valid until midnight of the day of checkout. You should be fine to order Steakhouse 71 to go on checkout day (and if for some reason the app doesn’t think so because MDE can be glitchy I’m sure a CM can help from there).

Also I love this idea because we leave BLT around lunch time and I’d rather grab this to go than wait until we’re through security at MCO.

You can order despite that message even if you are not a resort guest. However if you are not a Contemporary/BLT guest (you will still be considered one until 11:59pm on your checkout day) you won't be able to rideshare/taxi/park in order to pick up your order. You could walk over from MK or take Disney transportation and pick up your food, however.
