Steakhouse 55

Anyone have a review or recent experience at Steakhouse 55? How would you compare it to say Ruth Chris or The Keg? I love good steak, and I hear this place is good. Also, do they accept PS reservations?

This is my freind's favortie restaurant at DLR (above Napa Rose also). I don't know how it compares, but we're going in January. Yes, they do accept PS.

did not find it very pleasing... my DH said his steak was ok. and for the price the food should have been very good like blue bayou..

Our food was great, just a step below Ruth's Chris IMO.

LOVED IT! It's nicer than the Keg. I don't know about Ruth Chris beacause I have never been there. Best steak I ever had, very tender. Oh man, its making me hungry!

Thanks for the feedback. I think we will give it a try. I wanted to go to somewhere nice that is "Disney". We looked at the menu for Napa Rose and their food is not really our type....especially for the high $$. We have been to BB several times and to be very honest; love the atmosphere, not too impressed with the food. If they are on par with, or close to The Keg, Ruth Chris, Morton's, etc, then I am sure we are in for some really yummy steak.

It is well below the quality of Ruth Chris. But much better than any of the mid-range steak places like outback, black angus , etc...
