Sorry Guys another question .... is it possible to get a really good steak at one of the standard table service restaurants on the DDP or do we need to go to a Signature? We have had great experiences at Cali Grill and Narcoossee's in the past but were considering trying more seafood signatures this time. We would still like a good steak at some point during our trip though.

I like the striploin at Coral Reef and have had it each trip the past 2 or 3 years and quality is pretty consistent. It's not the quality of Yachtsman or other signatures, but it is very good. Also, my son had the steak at Les Chefs de France last year and was very happy with it.

Be Our Guest's steak is really good. I get that every time. I had the steak at T-Rex Cafe and that was surprisingly really good, as well.

Thank you, we ate at Olivia's last time and it was my (non Signature) stand out meal of the trip. I seem to recall having something a little spicy with shrimp and rice (definitely no tofu) but I am really sad to say that the menu looks to have changed and I can't seem to find what I had or indeed remember what it was called to see if I could sweetheart them to recreate it if we were to go again.

Thanks, very first time we brought the children over to WDW (2012) we ate at TRex as my son was dinosaur mad. We were all pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. May need to revisit.

Another vote for the steak at Be Our Guest. Also, we get the steak and fried fish option at Rose and Crown. The steak there has always been cooked perfectly plus it is seasoned very well.

Thank you, being English we have never considered the Rose and Crown when in WDW but it get good reviews so we may need to investigate.

Best steak that we had was at Mama Melrose in HS. We were very surprised and both my DD and I enjoyed it. Must say though that it was about 4 years back. I enjoyed that more than Le Cellier or CRT ( at that time)-

No, Coral Reef is not signature. My original post, I was just trying to point out that it's a good steak, must not Yachtsman or other signature restaurant good.

I had the strip steak at Mama Melrose this past Sept & it was excellent. I was pleasantly surprised & would be happy to go back.
