Steak as CS meal at CSR on ddp?

Can one really order the sirloin steak with a counter service credit at the pepper market? Has anyone had this steak...how is it? Thanks!

My DH wants to give up our ressie at AKL, and instead stay at CSR just for the darn CS steak dinner you can get at the Pepper Market (well, and the slide too)!

Last night, after he saw a picture of the meat/steak cooler on Buzz's website, he started chanting....."CSR...CSR...CSR...CSR...CSR..."

He thinks that if I don't want to stay there after seeing that meat/steak cooler, I must be crazy!

Um, it's meat honey. Who's the crazy one?!?!

Yes you can! It's actually a rib eye steak and/or your can get a prime rib dinner at night.

As I have posted numerous times... The rib eye and prime rib at the Pepper Market are the best on property! I'm a big steak eater and over our past two CSR stays (2006,2007) I've had the steak 4-5 times each stay (DW is not amused )

Last time we stayed at AKL, we were swimming and enjoying our vacation when DH looks at me and says "Where's the pyramid? I thought we were staying with the pyramid ?". Maybe there is something in the water & meat at CSR that gets them

PS We have decided for our next DDP trip (3rd time) we are going to use our TS for a big lunch in parks and then head to CSR for CS dinner in evenings !! Great value there and beats the CS options in parks.

I had the fajitas at CSR on our last trip...they were truly the best fajitas I had ever had...and the cook was very friendly and helpful!

I was on the phone last night with Disney getting quotes for our 9/08 trip and she was telling me that the Dining Plan works very well at CSR since it's considered a counter service, not table service...a better value for your money!! She just about has me convinced to add the Dining Plan to our package...

If they announce free dining (usually April if they do) you should add it and have a good time...keep your eye on these boards for announcement!

we love CSR... the Pepper Market is great.... I am a big time steak eater and I find theirs to be yummy!! Next to the SOG CSR is our fav. resort to stay in....
