Sorry if this is in another thread, I did a search but could not find a clear answer. We have a sort-of split stay coming up, with the first night at Kidani in a studio and then moving to a larger room the next night when the rest of the family arrives. Two questions:

1. When the FP window opens 60 days from that first night, will I only be able to book FP for one day, as if it was a one-night stay, and then the rest of the window opens up the next day? Or will I be able to book it as if it was all one stay?

2. If I can book it like the entire trip is counted as one long stay, can I make FPs for everyone in the family on the first night? Or will the first night be limited to the few people who will be there, and the rest of the party opens up the next night?

If everyone has separate tickets and not a package, when your first window opens you'll be able to book for your complete stay.

Onsite stay > onsite stay has kept the FP booking window open when separate tickets or packaged tickets have been attached to the first stay.

If the later group has packaged tickets, you can't book for them until their 60-day window opens.

I'm not sure why they were able to make this work for FP+ and not ADR's, but they did.

Awesome news. We all have separate tickets because I booked the room but the other families bought their own tickets. I look forward to booking all the FPs for the entire trip starting tomorrow!

We have a split stay with no package the first part and a room only dining package using 9 day park tickets from another trip for the parks. Will we be able to pick all our FP+ for both parts of our trip 60 days from the first arrival day?

Just wanted to report back to this thread for future searchers that it worked just as Hiro said it would: I was able to book for the entire stay for the entire group because there was no package involved. Also, we got all the FPs we wanted for the entire week within 20 minutes of our target times.

We have a one night room only stay on 10/1 and then start our free dining package on 10/2. The system let me book my all my FP based on my 10/1 arrival date.

Yay! And, thanks for reporting back!!
Have a great time at AKL ~ my fave resort! :)
