DH brought the van home last night and it's doing well! the kids and i went out for breakfast and it was great!!!! sooo let's hope it keeps up!

I just need to be in a stadium full of people so I can let off a little of this excitement. I've been so quiet for so long. I hope the people who are staying in the room next to us, don't mind all the commotion that's going to occur at 5am Friday morning. I'm gonna hang a sign on our door that says SORRY real big. Maybe slip them a Lime Green Mickey Head under the door. Then they'll understand.

It's been a few days since anyone's posted.

We have less than 2 weeks, and I'm starting to panic because I normally have everything ready by now, and I don't. Plus there's all kinds of school & church things to do & get ready for before we leave. ACK!

Hey everyone! Just thought I'd check in and see how everyone was doing. Still suffering withdrawals from the World. Can't wait to go back. DH is already planning for November 07. We want to see the Christmas lights.

i have to drop out of the window decorating. we SADLY have to reschedule for next christmas.

i pm'd DDMichelle last week, but i see my name is still on the list. (i know she is a very busy mommy) i just don't want someone else to miss out if they wanted to join in. my dates were **sniff sniff** dec 16-26 *sniff*.

everyone have a great time on their trips!!! and i hope to join in next december.

We leave on Thursday morning. I am usually the most organized person ever, but I haven't even taken my suitcases out of the closet yet. My DD is in first grade and we found out yesterday that her best friend's mother was killed in a car accident she had on Sunday. So we had to go to school this morning and talked to a guidance counselor with the first grade class. She is worried that I am going to get in a car accident now. I am so sorry for this little girl, she is so sweet.

So now I am trying to motivate myself out of this funk and get to packing so that my daughter gets excited about vacation again. I think once she finds out we are going to Disney she will be thrilled. This is a surprise trip for her so I can't wait. But she is just so sad for her friend.

Just wanted to check in, I hadn't posted in awhile. Can't wait for the vacation to begin.

I can't even imagine the trauma that is going thru the first grade. My heart is breaking for all involved. Not that any time of year is better, but, during the holidays, must just be the worst. I hope your daughter holds up well.
