I can't even imagine the trauma that is going thru the first grade. My heart is breaking for all involved. Not that any time of year is better, but, during the holidays, must just be the worst. I hope your daughter holds up well.

The you so much for your well wishes. My daughter woke up this morning very excited that she is going on vacation tomorrow, even though she has no idea where. Kids are so trusting!!!!! I hope this vacation will brighten her spirits. I know she will be thinking of her friend though.

Anyway, this is my last day of work and we fly out tomorrow afternoon. So by tomorrow evening at 8:30 I should be decorating my window at POP!!!!

oh dsnygrl30, i'm so sorry for your little girl, and everyone involved! just awful
my dd is in 2nd grade. when she was in kindergarden, a little boy in her class, his mom was killed in a car accident 3 weeks before x-mas. then in 1st grade a little boy in her class, his dad died very sudden of a blood infection or something like that 1 week before x-mas....my dd came home, and was like "mom, michael's mom died, brennen's dad died, are you and dad gonna die too?....omg, is it very tricky to answer the questions when they are at this age. you don't want to lie to them, but you don't want them lying awake at night worrying either. my heart goes out to you, your dd, her friend and her family. my heart is just breaking for that little girl!

Hi! We are back. I am sad and glad at the same time.

I did get box 2. I did pass on box 5, but I did not get box 4. I checked all week and I never got it. Don't know what happens next. If I messed up I'm sorry. I lost a sheet of paper while there and it had some of my notes pertaining to this box switch. I am using the laptop and don't have that info here. Tomorrow when I get to it, I'll check on the other computer which is all shut down at the moment. Plus the basement is cold.

The weather in Orlando was soooo nice. 75-85 all week long. Rained a little mid week. But other than that, we barely used the warm clothes we packed.

Box 2 had sooo much great stuff. Thanks for the extra ponchos. I went through the ones I brought and we used some of the left overs. We had a few days of rain. No biggie though. There is some christmas stuff, but not a lot, so you may want to bring some from home. There was silver garland. I left window cling snowflakes. There are lots of mickey heads. I left some christmas window clings I made. There is no more tape. I left some dry erase boards for the door and markers. They had magnets on them. There are some toys you can display on the window ledge.

There's multi colored paper and markers, scissors, stuff like that.

My daughter loved playing with the disney magnets. I kept those on the inside door. There's an extension cord and a christmas tree. We didn't use the tree. I could use some ornaments.

It was fun decorating. I didn't see any others in our section. We had the eighties over looking the parking lot. Room 7346.

We just got back last night at 11:30pm. Just getting settled back in. I have tomorrow off, I hope to post a picture then. Who ever gets box 2, I left an extra box just for you. It's a surprise!!!!

Just checking in - countdown is really beginning!!! Only 12 days and I am taking a day and a half off before my trip so I can be all unstressed and ready to go.

Was I the last person with BOX 4 - I was there 10.26-10.30 and left it for RHONDA DEININGER whose check it was NOVEMBER 19, 2006… I don't know her board screen name anymore - they would not keep it at the desk and had me leave it at the outside luggage check area. It was a medium size syrofoam ice chest with a large foam LGMH on the top....The box had lots of stuff in it.....plus a couple journals so I hope it is not lost for good.

They do keep things in the outside luggage area....Not sure who Rhonda is, but I see that Mousebit (Barb) is next on the list to get Box #4....Last time when this box was lost, I called down to the Pop Century front desk and they found it for me and changed the name to the correct person that was supposed to get it next and the date they were checking in ...So, Mousebit, if you and MommyEsq could PM each other and work this out, I am sure that the missing box will be found!!!!

Checking in with just 3 days to go!!!!!!! I should be cleaning and finishing the packing instead but just wanted to make sure there are no new developments I need to know about. I have box #1.

I left a cooler for someone else. I thought it said box 5. Plus I wasn't expecting box 4 at check in because the other person didin't check out until the 26th. The cooler was waiting for me at check in on the 24th. So I put crystals name on there to receive it on 11/30.

I never got a third box. I got box 2, and what I thought was box 5 and passed them on.

When I arrived on 10.26 recieved both a ice chest (box 4) and a large tinkerbell bag. i was never able to figure out who left the bag but given the problems I had finding the packages and getting them delivered/trying to pick them up - I combined the two so the ice chest was packed and I have to tape it shut. I am not sure which ice chest was picked up recently but this one had a large form LGMH taped to the top. I left it from someone arriving mid Nov so can we figure out who that person was and whether it was actually picked up by them. I remember sending them a PM but never got a reply.

Sorry, I was wrong - Box 5 was not a cooler.

I found the list, and Surprizetrip06 was the last person to have Box 5.

She changed her name to mimif1.

I found her post from when she returned - #1296.

Box 5 was 2 boxes.

mousebit is due to have Box 4 on 12/9, and there is only one person after her. I know mousebit was taking extra decorations. I'll PM her to see if she has enough stuff for Kat.

I'm getting Box 5 on 12/9 also. If mousebit doesn't have enough stuff, I'll try to set it up to give mousebit some of Box 5, or maybe get Kat's info from DMM so I can leave it directly for her.

It'll work out!


ETA: Do you think it would make a difference to call & ask them to look for 2 boxes, instead of a cooler?

Hey All! So w2hatever is easier is fine with me... I do have some decorations to bring with us for our window so whatever is left in box 4 is fine with me...it'll just make less to add to the final boxes. I can gladly bring my own tape and stuff like that too... so any info when you all get it about box 4 just let me know!

Ok, I referred to my notes and this is what happened.

At check in there was a brown box and a huggies diaper box labeled box 2. I kept that box and used it. The huggies box had only halloween stuff in it. The brown box had various stuff in it. BTW-It needs tape.

Later that day I talked to the front desk because my light was flashing when we first got to our room. Said there was a package for me. So I called the front desk and they said there was a cooler waiting for me. They said they'd deliver it to my room. They didn't.

Next morning I went to front desk. They present it too me and I leave it for DisnyGrl30, but I use her real name of course.

As for a lime green mickey being on it. There could have been. I didn't even pick it up. I just crossed out my name and put the new name on it.
