Staying @ POP & want to decorate your window?We need someone to Takeover the thread!

I have a ton already for the window... but I need more DISNEY themed stuff! (we have halloween and lime green everything!) Does anyone know of a place that would definately have Disney Window clings??? Thanks!

Ok Michelle - I am just sneaking onto your thread. I am jumping onto the decorating your window even though I am not part of an actual "box" - I hope that is Ok !!

You said you are taking 3 strands of lights even though 2 might work. So stupid question. Is that a strand of 50 lights or 100 lights ?

So far I have window gell clings, lots of orange and black Mickey head cut out. (Lime green with magnets for the door) and little hanging ghosts to hang from the top of the window. I also have a strand of about 10 pumpkin hanging lights and now just need enough to make it around the edge of the window. Anything else I can add to make it festive ? I think I might have to dedicate a suitcase just for my decorations - LOL !!

Also when we leave I can donate my stuff to a box if it is needed. That way I don't have to haul it home. We check out 10/2 (aren't leaving Orlando until the 5th) but that is when we check out of Pop.

The strand is of 50lights!! i also have a strand of 20 pumpkin lights! i think we will figure out what we are using when we get there, but the blue print shows:

3 strands of lights FRAMING the window and the punkin lights across the top for decor!!

I'm so excited just reading about the posters who are going in just a few short weeks. I am jealous, but my day will be here before I know it. We just made our seat assignments, so the count is getting lower that's for sure.

I was able to find an over the door organizer of sorts at Target on sale. It wasn't just for shoes. It has the clear plastic pouches of various sizes. I can see how this will help with one, keeping the counters clear, and two save time when looking for things, they'll be right there in front of me, no digging through bags to find things.

Our luggage is in desperate need of an extreme vacation make over, so we looked at a few sets, not bad prices either. Just the little things that make the upcoming trip, more excitable.

I going to attempt the cutting of the mickey heads today, with the hole thingys and stringing them together. Wish me luck!

I thnk Michelle did this. What's the best way to put the hole thingys in. Do you need a punch of some kind?

monymony, i just used a standar size hole punch and it worked great have fun!!!!!! it's a time ocnsuming project, but it helps get you in the DISNEY mood!! we're going to play Disney Scene It tonite!!

We have that and I just think it's the cutest game. We have so much fun playing that with the boys. We also play disney trivial persuit, which is really hard if you use the adult questions.....

Thanks for the hole punch tip. I started cutting those heads, and 3 into it I found it was really easy to just rip the first layer off and it didn't ruin the color mickey head at all. I got 40+ done in 10-15 minutes. Now off to Joannes for the hole thingy inserts.

I've about finished our MNSSHP costumes and hiding everything I buy. 34 days left. Will we be able to hide everything? Any other pictures of windows? How about a list of things in Box 5? We really can't wait!

Wow, I can't believe you haven't told your kids about the trip! Half the fun is the anticipation of the big event, I wouldn't have missed sharing the planning, dreaming, and suspense of these trips with my daughter for anything in this world. We lay in her bed at night, and talk about what we want to do, where we are going to go. She is 13, so maybe she is older, but, she feels that she has contributed to the trip, which she has. She is an amazing kid with terrific ideas.

I can't keep a secret like that from my daughter, lol, we are way too close. Besides she would kick my butt if I did.

Me too I can't find any just Disney and I'm not going for a holiday season! I did have an idea Walmart has Disnet calendars I thought I could use those pix on the windows , maybe laminate .Whatdaya think !!!

I went to Joanns and KMart today and didn't see any window clings/decals. Who usually carries these. I asked the clerks and they are like, I haven't seen those in a long time. I didn't see them at Target either on Saturday.

I bought those "eyelets" today. No longer calling them hole thingys. So, you just punch a hole and then just insert the eyelet. And that's all. They stay in on their own?

Sorry for the tideous questions, I don't have much experience with this type of stuff. But I am trying.

Hiya! you will need an eyelet setter (kinda like a hammer) and then a mat to protect your surfaces and all will be good

I found loads of halloween window clings (NOT disney) at Michaels and Wal Mart!!
