hi could someone tell me if you stay onsite for 1 night only, can you use your room key for express pass on the day you checkin and the next day on day of check out. thanks

You can check in as early as you want and if your room is not ready they will call you on your cell phone when it is ready. They will give you your room keys so you will have fotl for the day and it will also be good for the day of check out. We were just there in May and we checked in at 8:30 am and the had a room for us. That was really nice.

but don't hold your breath for that phone call saying your room is ready.

call frequently the front desk to find out yourself.

you can have a tm at the park call the hotel for you.

yes, 2 full days of FOTL if you are staying one night on site.

love that mummy dust they give out!

hi we booked a one night stay for 12th july.:cool1: :cool1:
when we went to universal last year we bought the express pass but for not to much extra were getting a night stay and 2 day express:dance3:

I presume they give you a numberto call, or should you just use their listed number?

hedley, they write down the number on the card you are given.

they have the password on it also. everyone has a different pw

when you call that special number, you have to give the pw or they will not give out the info on what is your room number.

this keeps the system secure and safe.

at that point when the front desk has your room number in the system, you do not have to stop in at the front desk for your card to be activated to use for your room key.

they activate your hotel room key when they assign your room.

bypass the front desk.
call from your room for your luggage to be brought up to your room then

This past May, we checked in around noon and was told our room wasn't ready but they would call us as soon as it was. We left our luggage with luggage storage and got on the boat to Citywalk. As the boat was leaving the dock, we got the call that the room was ready. As we were already heading to Citywalk, we had lunch there before returning to RPR for our room. When we got in our room, luggage storage had already left a message on our room phone, to notify them when we were ready for our luggage. I was pretty impressed that our room was ready so quick, we were notified, and that luggage storage was kept in the loop.
