Staying on DVC points before a cruise??

We rent points every other year for our Disney trip. This year I am considering DCL. If we stay on points at a DVC resort for a few nights-can we use Disney transporation to get to the port and back? We always drive so we will have a vehicle that would stay parked if that matters any. Thank you!

Yes. You need to call either DCL or your TA (which ever you used) to add the cruise transfers. The cost is $35 per person each way. Disney does not normally allow you to leave vehicles while you are not there. You would need to check with the resort about getting a parking pass for the time you are on the cruise.
