Staying off site?

if staying off site I know u can't book fast pass til 30 days out.

If I buy tickets from a site like undercover tourist how do I link it to the mde app? Then how do I go about ordering magic bands and color of them.

Thanks. Normally always stay on site. But a friend of mine is staying off site and I'm not sure how to do tix

1. You input the ticket numbers when they ship them to you.

2. MagicBands are not required for FP+ or park entry.
You can just use the tickets that UT (or anyone else) sells you.

But, if you just WANT to PRE-ORDER MagicBands ($12.50 = tax & shipping, each) you can order them from www.disneystore.com.
Or, you can simply buy them from any gift shop at WDW after arrival.

If you're staying off property, you don't get Magic Bands, at least not for free. You can buy them when you get there, or you can order them from disneystore.com.

I was able to link our tickets by scanning the bar code in the My Disney Experience app. It was super simple!

I wanted to get Tinkerbell/Toy Story Magic Bands so I actually asked someone who went to Disney World in February if they could pick them up for me, she was happy to do so and we love our bands! As was previously mentioned, they were not free like for on site but the family we will be with is staying on site and will have them plus we are planning on getting Memory Maker before we go so I figured they would be worth it. Don't laugh but the other night I wore my Tinkerbell one just because!

If you are staying offsite, can you reuse a magic band from a previous trip?!

You should be able to reuse a previous magic band that is still linked to your MDX for park entry, for ride photos and to redeem fastpasses (not for charging).
