I'm staying off site and am trying to plan which parks to visit on which days. I know that EMH are likely to increase park attendance, but is it the am or pm EMH that may be more likely to do this? I'm probably going to have to go to at least 1 park on a day with EMH and am trying to plan ahead. Thanks.

I don't know about which is worse on pumping up attendance, but the way I see it, AM EMH are more likely to be a problem, because by the time you are entering the park you have a lot of fast pass competitors already at the machines, while you are still grabbing a map and taking in the atmosphere.

Hope it helps on your decission,

Mx

If you must go to an emh park staying off site, make it a pm emh park.

Going to an AM emh park after the emh means the park is not at a zero line condition when you go in. A Pm emh park, will when you go be at a zero line condition when you start.

Also theoretically people who plan to go to a PM EMH park will get there later in the day so as long as you are there for RD you should get a lot done before teh PM EMHers show up.

That's what I think happened on our first day at MK last trip. It was a Sunday PM EMH, to I think 1 AM, first week in May. We got there early and everything was like a walk on, I called it a 3. As the day progressed lines just got longer and longer.

if you have to go to an EMH park I would DEFINITELY go to one with evening hours. Your morning is the best chance to ride with no lines and that is completely lost if you go after the EMH. Also if the evening EMH are very very late the park may not start to fill up till closer to when you are ready to leave since you got there early in the AM.

I think it depends on when you like to be in the parks. If you like mornings, I'd go when there are evening EMH. If you prefer late afternoon/evening park time, I'd go when there's a morning EMH because people who arrived early might be leaving then.
