I have a FastPass+ for the Main Street Electrical Parade on January 8th at 7pm. Is it true that after the parade ends, we will be allowed to stay in our same place for both the castle projection show as well as Wishes?

Allowed to? Yes.

Whether you'd WANT to is another story.

That parade viewing area is too close to the castle for good fireworks viewing.
Many of the spectacular sky effects are blocked from your view by the castle, itself.
Here's a map that shows the FastPass+ reserved locations.
The MSEP FP+ area ceases to be "reserved" after the parade passes.
They take down the ropes and the area becomes just "another open spot along the sidewalk."
If you choose FP+ for MSEP only, I've included red arrows to show where to MOVE
for viewing Wishes (and Celebrate the Magic) right after the parade passes the parade FP+ reserved area.

Hi There,

I've seen Wishes several times, and according to your arrows, I don't think I've ever been that far back while watching Wishes. Don't get me wrong, I am very sure that the area you marked is great for watching the show; I'm just saying that I've always been closer when watching it and haven't seem to had a problem in viewing the fireworks. Yes, some small ones may be behind the castle, but the majority of it is high up in the sky.

It's a matter of taste. Many, including me, find the MSEP area too close for good viewing of Wishes, others don't. The southern half of the Hub is ideal for seeing all of Wishes.
